Justin Timberlake And Jimmy Fallon

In what seems to be almost an every two or three month event, Justin Timberlake was on Jimmy Fallon last night and once again they continued what at some point is going to be enough material to actually sell, their third installment in the history of rap. Justin Timberlake to me is really hit or miss as an actor, but he is really good at this type of thing and should really think about being on SNL full-time for a year or two to really get some training and practice. He is at his best there and here, but not so much movies. The worst part of Bad Teacher? Justin Timberlake.

  2. I saw Bad Teacher I couple nights ago. I didn't laugh once. Although Lucy Punch was VERY good in the movie. Otherwise Save your DVD rental dollars.

Although I do like Justin's new movie. But that's more due to the writer/director Andrew Niccol whose movies I actually like more than Christopher Nolan's. I'd like to see what Niccol can do with a Nolan budget.

  4. Jimmy Fallon has been one of my favorite celebrities for a while. He seems to genuinely love his job and his guests (which is more than you can say for the other late night hosts). I've been backstage at his show, and when he comes to greet the guests before the show starts, he is so funny with them.

Plus, he's always laughing and can never keep a straight face, which I appreciate, b/c that is exactly how I am.

  5. did any of you see justin on ellen? he was talking about how he and ryan gosling, back in the mouse-k-day, thought they were gangsta. they took a golf cart on the back stage and went for milk shakes and called each other 'bro' and 'cuz'. was pretty funny.

  6. My favorite thing was that JT paid respect to the incomparable Nile Rodgers who sat in with The Roots.

JT was great in the Social Network. Jimmy Fallon is a fantastic mimic with a great voice !

  8. I can't figure out JT either. He is so good on SNL, when most great actors fail at it, yet he can't act his way out of a paper bag. It's really weird.

  9. Hunh, I thought Justin Timberlake was just right in Bad Teacher. He nailed the sanctimonious, hypocritical teacher. When he was dry-humping Cameron Diaz? Hilarious.

  11. @Me - I saw it. :)

The whole interview was pretty hilarious, if you have time to watch, even though most of it was filled with Michael Jackson impersonations.

  12. @JasonBlueEyes--I thought the previews for Good Teacher looked okay enough and made the mistake of renting, too. What a terrible movie. Although, I don't know that JT was the worst part. A lot of the movie was the worst part.

@figgy, the jeans on scene was kinda funny. I also did like that he was a purposely bad singer with his "Simpatico" song, as opposed to introducing some kinda crazy perfect dance sequence at prom or something. B/c that could have somehow made this terrible movie worse.

  14. I watched Bad Teacher last week...I chuckled a couple of times...one was during the dry humping scene. THAT was good cinema, right there! *L*

Also, am I the only one who thinks Cameron Diaz is a terrible actress? Like, Lindsay Lohan bad. She just never stops being Cameron Diaz, you know?
