The Greatest Videogame Move Ever

Apparently this guy who plays Battlefield 3 made what is considered to be the greatest move ever in a video game. The guy jumps out of a plane, fires off a missile and downs a plane with it and the somehow jumps back into his own plane. Umm yeah. Well, 5M people have watched the video which is also pretty insane. Wait, 5M plus I watched it a couple of times to see what all the fuss is about. I'm sure a great portion of the 5M views are people like me who live in their basement but spend their time playing video games instead of boozing and blogging so watched it on a loop to try and figure out how to do the move.

  1. I think if we would wait for an actor to mock adult men and their obsession for those video games just like Charlize Theron did with women and their Helloy Kitty obsession, we would be waiting a long time.

Well, men are still allowed their boyish interests, while women are considered insane for it.

  2. Hey I love my Xbox and my call of duty games. I love beating the boys who think they're bad ass in it and they either freak out that they got beaten by a girl
Or try hitting on me. I lget a good laugh

  3. The average gamer is 37 years old and has been playing for 12 years.

Eighty-two percent of gamers are 18 years of age or older.

Forty-two percent of all players are women and women over 18 years of age are one of the industry's fastest growing demographics.

Today, adult women represent a greater portion of the game-playing population (37 percent) than boys age 17 or younger (13 percent).

    Thanks for stereotyping, Mina!

Thanks for kicking ass, Amy! I just got Arkham City for Christmas...

  4. Why am I stereotyping? Did I hit a nerve?

  5. Ooooooooh. Impressive.

Reminds me of how people who've "mastered" Guitar Hero actually think they can play licks like Keith Richards.

The last time I cared about video games, I was hopping on toadstools in order to get cold coins. The arena of gaming has obviously changed considerably. It bothers me how people -- of both genders -- spend so much time obsessively simulating murder.

  6. ^Ahhh, good times. I gave up on games when I couldn't get past level one in Zelda 2. Still pissed.

I did recently go through a 'it's winter in Seattle so let's get stoned every night and play Okami'. We quickly grew tired. I just can't seem to pick up the habit, no matter how hard I have tried.

  7. How long before this "stunt" is in a Tom Cruise movie?
