Today's Blind Items

So, a few years ago, this A list movie actor who is still A list today was shooting a movie and got drunk one night and decided what his male co-star needed was some sex. Apparently earlier in the week, the co-star told the A list actor that he was still a virgin. So, the A list actor was out with women on his arms and asked if any of them would be willing to sleep with the co-star. Several agreed after our A list movie actor promised them they could also sleep with him. So, the actor rounded them up and went over to the co-star's home and woke up everyone there with these women on his arm. It did not go over well at all and the co-star did not have sex that night. However, the next day on set had a whole different result.

  1. I do not understand this blind. Please, translate. What was the different result the other day?

  2. Completely cornfused. I can't wait for you guys to tackle this one.

  3. I guess Junior got laid, Fresca.

I'd like to throw out George Clooney as the A lister. No clue who the virgin could be. (Definitely not Marky Mark.)

  4. Nic Cage and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin)?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Yeah... but did Junior sleep with A-list in the end? Or did he suddenly change his mind and decide he was ready to sleep with women?

  6. so confused! don't do this to me Enty!

sounds like the virgin might have still been living with the parents....maybe that kid from Twilight?

  7. The A list movie actor rounded up women for the virgin costar. The A lister went to the virgin's house and woke up everyone - I guess the virgin lived with his family at the time. It didn't happen that night, but on set the next day the virgin had sex. Who the virgin had sex with on set is not known.

I have no clue who this could be.

  8. Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner?

  9. It disgusts me that so many women are this stupid and cheap, that if they would agree to sleeping with a co-star they could also sleep with the A list star in the same night. Who are these tramps that ruin it for other women out there.

  10. Agree, crila16. Pretty depressing.

  11. I like spacecowboy78's guess.

  12. I agree with previous commenters that it seems like the costar lived at home with his parents, and then lost his virginity the next day on set to the women that the A-lister found.

As for a guess, I am stumped.

  13. Also, no disrepect, but is Nicolas Cage really still considered an A-lister?

    ReplyDelete
  14. @crila16, that's what I came away with from the blind, too. Gross.

  15. not sure why this is so horrible...presumably these are girls who just want to have fun and think sex is fun, especially with someone good looking and famous. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see how it spoils anything for anyone else.

  16. what about george clooney and casey affleck?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Isn't Casey Affleck married? I don't think he is a virgin. For some reason I keep thinking Taylor Lautner because I think he was living with his parents or maybe still is?

I'm with hikerhead, party girls, so what.

  19. but when oceans 11 was created was he married?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I am thinking this is older, not a classic hollywood, but not like in the past ten years. Because the A-lister was A and still is A.

    ReplyDelete
  21. And exactly what is it ruining for everyone? Is this the type of man you would want to settle down with and raise kids anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  22. george clooney on the set of ocean's eleven....grasping here

  23. It says "a few years ago," so the movie wouldn't have been shot more than three or years ago.

And would RPatz really be considered A List? All his movies outside of the Twilight franchise haven't been blockbusters.

  24. Mike Myers and Troyne Vernor in Austin Powers.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Omg Seachica I love your answer and Mike Myers would have to be the virgin because "Troyne" is a P.I.M.P.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I can totally see a loaded Nic Cage bringing a bunch of women over to his co-star's home, oblivious to the fact that he's woken up the entire household with his shenanigans. But is he A-List?

    ReplyDelete
  27. When was Moneyball filmed? Pitt and Jonah Hill.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Russel Crowe and Leo Dicaprio on "The Quick and the Dead"? (i guess Crowe wasn't A list in 1995)

Johnny Depp and Leo Dicaprio in "gilbert Grape"?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I find it hard to believe there are any virgins in show business over the age of 10.

  31. I can't see Brad Pitt anytime in the 2000's being out wasted with women on his arm. Jonah Hill is 28 now and grew up relatively well off in LA. Fat or not, I'd bet money he lost the V long ago. I'd suspect the same of Leo who was 18 by the time he got to film Gilbert Grape with Depp.

Nic Cage probably isn't A list per se, but he has A list recognition, is an Oscar winner and does still headline mainstream box office releases, even they are mostly shit.

  32. Leo and - I dunno, Joseph Levitt?

Tommy and Justin Chatwin (War Of The Worlds.)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Crila16, men would kill themselves to have the same opportunity if the roles were reversed.

    And I'm with Sean.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnell-Scent of a Woman?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I wouldn't give Nic Cage an A, but I would give him an A-, so pretty close. He's a bigger star than Kate Winslet, and you all threw a fit when she got a B+. Yes, he makes shitty movies, but everyone knows who he is, and he can still get movies opened on his name alone.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I also like the Russell Crowe/Leonardo DiCaprio guess, but was Crowe A-list when they filmed the Quick and the Dead?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't agree that Nicholas Cage is A-list anymore. B at best. Don't think anyone's going to have him headline any good films anymore.

  38. I see women are still evil if they embrace their sexuality. No comment on the behaviour of the blokes. The first step to true equality is to stop double standards. Consenting adults have the right to have sex with whomever they choose as long as the other person/people are consenting as well. Maybe Robert Downey Junior did this pre-rehab.

  39. @hikerhead - thank you. Just because a woman wants to get laid does not make her cheap. I'm really sad that women can't do what men can do without being called, "sluts", "ho's", "skanks" and "cheap". The sex drive is one of our most primitive instincts. I'm not berating anyone, it's just that this sort of thinking is so deeply ingrained in our culture.

And all the above was to distract from the fact that I got nothin'.

  40. I thought Leo supposedly lost his virginity to Sharon Stone on the set of The Quick and the Dead? At least, that's the way I remember hearing that particular tale at the time...

    ReplyDelete
  41. The co-star had sex on set? While filming? What is on set?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I actually heard THIS story or a story JUST LIKE this in an interview with one of the participants! So either it was Paul Newman and Robert Redford while filming Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, or this has happened more than once. Because it happened with them.

  44. I've now looked for any internet corraboration of my memory of the Paul Newman/Robert Redford interview I saw many years ago, and it makes no sense. Redford married in 1958, so by 1969 when Butch Cassidy came out, he could not be the virgin in question. What was the interview I saw? Huh... Sorry, I am apparantly mistaken.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'll go with the Al and Chris O'Donnell guess.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think Sean Connery/Christian Slater in the name of the rose. At least that's where my first thought went. Maybe I've seen too many skits of celebrity jeopardy on SNL, but I could see Connery doing that.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I so want to say Brad and Jonah. Jonah travels with his (miserable) family so I imagine it must be hard to wrangle anything.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Russell Crowe said a couple years ago in an interview that Leo was a virgin when they worked together on "The Quick & the Dead." Maybe he hooked up with Sharon Stone. I'm pretty sure Sharon was banging Russell though so maybe it was one of the extras. As others have mentioned, it's hard to know if Enty is referring to A list now or A list when it was filmed.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think someoneelse got it right. I seem to remember that Christian Slater's sex scene in the movie was was the two actually having sex.

But my first thought was Mel Gibson and somebody. Apparently he's been a womanizing lush for quite awhile, right? But can't think, or don't want to think, of who the virgin is. Maybe Jodie Foster! Ha.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Sorry> was was = was.

Don't want to think because I'm too tired to do research.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I like the Pacino-O'Donnell guess, but I'm pretty sure Al was already sober by the time SOAW was made, so I doubt he would have been drunk.

The Leo guess is a good one.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Russell Crowe was not A list when The Quick and the Dead was made.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Paul Rudd (with help from Russell Brand maybe) and Jonah Hill as the virgin.. on Forgetting Sarah Marshall?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I think Christopher Mintz-Plasse was an excellent guess, with Paul Russ the A-lister in ROLE MODELS (hilarious. Rent it!).

Gaaah! Rudd, not Russ! Damn you, autocorrect!

  55. I just made this account, because I think I know this one :p

I think it's Ralph Fiennes and Daniel Radcliff while filming one of the Harry Potters.

    Love the blog, cheers.
