It does not take long for the allure of being on a television show to change you into the biggest diva in the world. Even before Real Housewives-Beverly Hills, I think it's pretty obvious that Lisa Vanderpump had some diva in her. I think she had a lot of diva in her actually and has been trying to hide it in front of the cameras so she comes off as more sweet than she really is. Now though, during this season of filming she is listing demand after demand and thinks she is all that because she has her own spin off show. Yeah, well so does Kim Zolciak. So, an ex-hooker and Beverly Hills socialite have something in common. No need to be a diva about it.
But isn't Jiggy the real diva here?

ReplyDeleteI like her. She's hard working, her sarcastic humor is spot on, she says to her co stars faces what she says to the camera when she's interviewed solo, and she enjoys her kids. She's had success before the show, so isn't desperate in the same way so many others are. I think she got the spin off because so many viewers actually enjoy her on camera personality. Of course they are leaking that she is being a diva -- it's time to ramp up publicity for the next season. Seems like it's her turn in the 'villain' chair.

ReplyDeleteReveals aside, good for Lisa. Fans of the show will remember almost all of the cast (except for Brandi) ripping Lisa a new one on the reunion show. No wonder she's being a diva. I'd try to piss everyone off too.

ReplyDeleteWow...whenever I think about people who think they're better than everyone else, more deserving and cruel to other people...I always think back to 9/11 and what I saw NYC go through. It puts things into perspective immediately. You realize, having all the money in the world, clothes, attention...material things don't matter in the least. Life is what matters. Most celebs, unfortuately, let their egos control them, instead of being grateful and appreciative for everything they have.

ReplyDeleteAs for Lisa, even though I adore her, she says mean things especially in her one on ones with the camera. She's very sarcastic. I think it's a combination of being a bit older (sorry sweetie) and her accent that allow her to get away it.
She's always been a diva, and her restaurant was on the verge for closing before she started RHOBH. She got very lucky financially.

I have always thought she was a huge diva (that's why the others are jealous and have issues with her) but I still have enjoyed her a lot on the show and I love seeing her house and restaurants. And I like Ken --you can tell he spoils her rotten.
ReplyDeleteROBH, I love Lisa and Brandi because they are not afraid to tell it like it is. It is Kyle's show, as long as anyone gets more attention than Kyle, they will get the bad edit, and be the subject of nasty rumors.

ReplyDeleteKim had a certificate and license to work as a LPN (usually obtained through vocational program or community college), not an RN (registered nurse). LPNs or LVNs work under the supervision of RNs. One of my friends is an LVN, working on becoming an RN :) Kim fudged her credentials when talking about her education.
@Selena, thanks for telling me. But I thought those with alopecia lost all of their hair? He still looks pretty fluffy to me. He just looks really, really little.
