Teresa Giudice Gets Paid To Apologize

You know those apologies Teresa Giudice gave to all her fellow cast members? The ones that really never sounded that sincere in the first place? Well, it turns out Teresa did not actually mail the apologies or deliver them in person. Hey, she didn't even e-mail them. Instead, Teresa sold them all for $6K to In Touch and just had them publish the apologies. They probably even helped write them. If you are going to apologize to your friends and family, you might as well make a buck off of the apology too. How greedy do you have to be that you have to monetize apologies? When they call her house do they have to dial a 1-900 number to do it?

  1. Can we PLEASE have a No Reality Stars Month?

    A) They're not celebrities.

    B) Absolutely NO ONE cares.

(I'm starting to think this site is run by somebody that works at Bravo.)

  2. I might abandon RHONJ this "season."

Last night was abysmal and I just don't find it entertaining to watch people implode like that.

Watching Melissa "sing" is pure is torture.

I had hoped Ashlee wouldn't be on it anymore cuz I cannot STAND the spoiled, whiny idiot.

And it's beyond obvious that the Guidices let fame go WAAAYYY to their heads and they're too stuck up their own asses to realize it (or care).

At least good for Rich Wakile for bustin' Juicy Joe in the face. Ha haaaa!

  3. Vicki, I would be ok with that even though I watch this show, IF there will be no more NON-celeb posts about kids and woman being murdered. I don't come here for that and it really bothers me.

I think this site is run by someone who used to work at E! actually.

Probably. They definitely need the money. People who live outside their means always have reality catch up with them. What I don't understand is why so many of the housewives who aren't financially set up to live the lifestyles they want and try to portray on TV go on a reality show only to have the truth come crashing down on them. Do they not think people will investigate?

    I wanted to add:

Do they not think people will investigate...just because Bravo clearly doesn't? (or is probably setting them up to fail to draw more attention to the show)

  6. I just can't with the NJ show. I told my ex "No one behaves like that! It's crazy!" and he said that's why he likes it. Some people I know from NJ say people DO behave like that.

I just can't imagine acting like a damn fool in public (except when I'm drunk, oops!).

  7. Yeah, I think Andy Cohen laughs his ass off every day of the year about these and all the other RH nitwits.

And as gay-bigoted as Andy perceives Joe Guidice to be...he isn't going to let up on those two in editing and set-ups, either!

  8. I have moved on to Hoarders, Long Island Medium and Duck Dynasty for my "reality" fixes lately. If anyone cares (which you don't...ha!)

@hunter People do behave like that except it's not caught on cameras which is why it makes for, I was going to say an interesting show but it's more like that car accident you can't help but stare at on the freeway. There are certain cultures that are just incredibly passionate and can go from 0 to 60 in no time and then be fine again once they get their aggression out be it verbally or physically. It's family drama, some sweep it under the rug while others put it all out in the open. I have yet to go to a family wedding where a fight doesn't break out and it's always between people who are the closest (siblings, father and son, etc.) I think 85% of it is driven by alcohol (it's always there at family festivities) but as far as the Housewives shows goes on Bravo it seems the producers are plying the cast with alcohol from morning until night. Either they all have a drinking problem or they're constantly being put in situations where the alcohol is free flowing and so is their mouth and often their fists.

  10. Selena, I saw a couple of eps of Long Island Medium when I was staying at my friend's house for Xmas. It was fun, but I love that medium shit.

Grapey (Can I call you Grapey?), a lot of the non-celeb stories Enty posts wouldn't be available on news sites so I don't mind them. I do get why they bother some people, though.

    ReplyDelete
  11. @Selena, I'm with you. I watch a lot of A&E (I love the brother on Duck Dynasty).

I second what Vicki and Tempestuous said. I only care when the post is funny and makes fun of them. This one is questioning their greed. They are reality stars, that means they are greedy.

    ReplyDelete
  12. To add (because I truly believe everyone is dying to know what I think about everything), I just can't watch the Long Island Medium. She's so tacky looking and the fact that she thinks her hair and nails are the shit is too much for me.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Omg re: Duck Dynasty! My bf watches that show. Saw the grandad doing a presentation @ the kids school biting the head off a duck (dead, mercifully). wtf! Redknecks with money! Beats Housewives any day! Lol Love Long Island Medium, also.

  14. Im from Jersey and certain people do act like that!

  15. Ugh, with all that money you'd think she would fix her hairline...scary...

  16. You may call me Grapey or T-Grape, which is my rapper name, lol.

I see what you mean about them not being picked up by other outlets, makes sense. I'm just super duper emotional, so I get affected by what I take in. I just have to skip over them and quit my bitchin'

  17. Never watched a single episode of any of the housewives shows and I don't intend to.

Are there currently any unsolved reality star/prostitute blinds? If so, the 1-900 number could be a hint.

  18. @anita but that's how they roll on Laaawwngg Island

  19. I'm going to be the lone voice of dissent and say I love this show and any dirt on it. These people are nuts! Sometimes it gets a little depressing, but for the most part it's fun drama

  20. I used to watch the show, but it was never my favorite. I honestly don't watch now because the entire cast has just created a perpetual shitstorm around Teresa. Yeah, she's said some dumb things and she's superficial and whatnot, but in my opinion they're all cut from the same cloth. They are no better than Teresa, and its unfair for them to constantly be ganging up on her. If she's acting out by making $6k off fake apologies then she's coming out as the winner in a game where there are none. So yeah, fuck 'em.

    ReplyDelete
  21. That photo! Ha!

And yeah, what's with the hairline? I'd be tempted to pluck, pluck, pluck.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @Cathy - Actually, you can dial a 1-900 number now and talk to a bunch of "reality stars," AKA a bunch of them who aren't even on TV anymore. Danielle Staub is one of them, and if there WAS a reality star/prostitute blind, it would CLEARLY be about Danielle.

I love RHONJ, and I'm ashamed to say it. I'm also Team Teresa. She cracks me up and I love her cookbooks. Go figure.

@crazy/beautiful I can usually put up with the shows b/c I'm usually on the computer so my whole attention isn't on the episode (the reunion show are the roughest no matter what b/c everyone is always talking on top of each other and my brain can't handle it) but I think Teresa's problem is that she is genuinely dumb and stubborn and can't really process what everyone else is trying to tell her. I also feel she's so inside and committed to the lie, I mean lifestyle, created by her husband Narcissus that she can no longer tell reality from fiction. A very very tiny part of me feels sorry for her but they're all hotheads, that can't be denied.

  24. Nothing major to add other than every time I see that picture of Teresa I think she looks like a blinged out gargoyle.

  25. I live in Jersey - way closer to the city than these women. I know no one who speaks like Teresa or has fake boobs or wears nearly as much makeup as any of them do. (Yep, I've watched) In the beginning it was funny. I don't watch the Jersey Shore either - altho the new show about Snookie and whats-her-name was filmed in my town. Gone now - good riddance. And no longer funny.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh my gawd, you all watch it and you know it. What I get tired of is the posters who go "I've had it! I'm not watching RHOpickacity anymore!" And then will go on to detail everything that happened that episode.

Puhlease. This shit is better than anything Hollywood can make up. These are just actors playing themselves, der.

Everything we get mad at Teresa for is something we don't like about ourselves. There's your Buddhist moment, people. Oh, you weren't reading because you're too busy throwing darts at the screen when Ashley comes on. I saw you!

  27. Thanks for reigning us in there, McSpanky.

Contrarily, I have been known to quit a TV show cold-turkey. I haven't seen DWTS in three seasons; Bristol Palin killed it for me and I've never looked back.

Just sayin' it can be done. RHONJ has really become hurtful to watch--people being so catty and mean to each other is just not as fun as it used to be.

Hey--maybe I'm having a Buddhist moment of my own!

I don't watch the show, but just looking at this woman with her one-inch forehead annoys me.

  29. I'd never heard of Duck Dynasty, then one of my co-workers was telling us about it - sounds hilarious. Then you guys are talking about it on this thread - may have to start watching!

  30. I'm am epi behind because I actually made a smart choice this Sunday evening by deciding to watch Mad Men live and DVR RHNJ.

I watch this trash and RHBH and Mob Wives. Yeah, yeah. I should totally be reading a book. I know.

I quit DWTS cold turkey, too, selenakyle. I could not handle Chaz Bono. I just could not.

I found the first epi of Jersey Housewives to be unbelievably dull.

I 100% agree with your assessment of Teresa. Couldn't have said it better myself. She isn't my favorite at all, but I definitely feel bad for her and wish the others would back off a bit. But I guess that wouldn't make for good television.
Oh, also, despite her apparent lack of intelligence the fact that she has taken over the breadwinner role so quickly and successfully must be pointed out. Gotta give credit where its due.

    ReplyDelete
  32. If I want reality, I turn on the History Channel. Love American Pickers and Pawn Stars. So much more fun than this garbage.

Out of state friends ask, does everyone in Jersey act like that? Hardly. Wish these shrews would GO AWAY already.

  33. I lived in NJ most of my life, and lived in a town that was mostly Italian. These people on the show definitely do exist. Many are similiar in character and actions, just toned down a bit.

When I lived in California, I got the same questions about the Sopranos.. "People don't act like that?" "People don't talk like that?" Oh yes they do, mob stuff aside although I on and off over the years have heard stuff about that kind of stuff as well.

For RHWNJ, it's just that you have all these extreme personalities (that all do exist) but they are all mixed together in tight quarters for a lot of explosive outcomes.

    That is all.

    ReplyDelete
  34. One more thing, I have been watching Teresa on Celeb Apprentice. She seems a lot less volatile removed from the confines of all those other personalities. I find it interesting.

She does work very hard on the show, yes-some of her same personality traits shine thru but she is not such a nasty bi%%ch like she is on RHW

    ReplyDelete
  35. I unfortunately watched an eppy of RHONJ a few days ago, and I have to say Teresa is one of the most disgusting, ignorant people I have ever seen on TV. She is so stupid she has no idea how she comes off, or how what she says is inflammatory. She really is dumb. And the sad thing is she is going to pass all those wonderful qualities to her little girls. The only thing that's fun to watch is her hairline, slowly migrating towards her eyebrows.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I kind of like Teresa on Celebrity Apprentice, but on RHONJ she's a tool

  37. Theresa has to fix this issue or by end of season....she's Danielle Staub. As it is now, the season was already filmed when things blew up but if she doesn't get them to get over it, nobody will film with her....and I for one don't think this will be much of a show without her and her drama. I'm not defending her--it sounds like she is very two-faced but this has been a huge money maker for her and if she is off the show, it's going to cost her.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I wasn't going to watch this season, but I watched the opening episode and then I got sucked in to watching my delicious little Albie babbling nonsense, and my love for Joe G. and the other Joe G. kicked in. I know they're idiots, but I don't care. I loves me some big dumb people who grunt a lot.

And then Jacqueline, my lovely Jacqueline. And I'm starting to like Melissa, for her fake-tanned greasy skin and the horse-hair extensions she has clipped into her hair.

Really, now that I think about it, I can't wait till next week's episode. As Susan says, I should be reading a book, but whatever. Real Housewives shows are like catnip for gay guys -- we lose it watching these horrible shows. And Basketball Wives (only the Miami one) and Dance Moms (not the Miami one -- If I wanted to see a queen tormenting young children, I would go torment some young children myself.)

  42. Barton Fink, I always look forward to your comments on the RH.

LOVE this pic of Teresa. I think the fame has definitely gotten to TG. And I LOVED the look on her face when one of her fans at the book signing asked if everything was ok after Joe G's arrest. I am mostly now watching for little Milania, who has some really good soundbites.

  43. I watched the second epi last night. Am I the only person completely horrified over the way they treat Ashlee, or however she's spelling her name these days?!? Don't get me wrong, I think this girl is a complete waste of space, but I can't believe the way Jacqueline treats her. It's freaking appalling.

    Teresa's husband is the WORST.

OMG. Melissa Gorga singing. Just, please Lord, make it stop. I'd rather hear Teresa's daughter Adriana sing. And THAT'S saying something.
