Blind Items Revealed

April 6, 2012

When you see movies or hear things about actors being divas or big a-holes, I think the poster child for that person is the actor we are going to discuss today. This actor used to be just about A list. Honestly, we could call him A list from then. Now? He is a good solid B-, but has A list name recognition. Might even be A+. You mention his name and everyone knows who you are talking about.

Our actor came up through what he calls the method school of acting, but what is really just an excuse he uses to act like the biggest a-hole on the set. When he first started out he could control his temper and his voracious appetite for sex and drugs, but when that first wisp of fame hit, he was out of control.

One of the few actors to be nominated for the best and worst in his profession.

This actor is known for his a-holiness, but he has said and done some things which have long been kept quiet. When he first touched fame he used to have women in and out of his place all the time. If they were too slow to undress when they walked into his place, he would rip their clothes off and toss them naked out in the street and laugh away while he did more lines of coke. He would pass women around to his friends and beat them if they did not comply. When he started doing this with at the time an A list actress he messed up her mind for years. He thrilled in knowing she needed mental help for years after he messed with her head and body.

Our actor would do anything and everything to women and treated them horrifically. The thing is most of them came back for more because they loved the tough guy and wanted to be close to fame. Another drop dead gorgeous actress (B- back in the day and now a D) who was messed up for years by the actor said that when she made the actor mad one night he called over 10 of his friends and made her have sex with all of them until he would let her back inside. Oh yeah, this was outside. In winter. She was naked. In the backyard. The thing is when he did let her back inside the house, she stayed. He controlled her career and her future and when they split her career tanked because he had brainwashed her to the point she could no longer function without him in her life.

Our actor has had a 180 in his career recently. Well he did. He was humble while he was getting his career back on track, but with his new touch of fame again came lots of the old problems. This time though he can barely get it up anymore because of all the abuse to his body and his girlfriend laughs at him when he goes into his drunken rages.

Mickey Rourke & Carre Otis

  1. Yeah, carre has been open about this. i think he was the consensus.

  2. Who are the other actresses?

  3. While he is the devil!

  4. he was a beautiful man in his day, the ugly sure made its way to the outside of him.

  5. I meant wow he is the devil!

  6. Sickening.

    Damn.

  7. you know, if this is all common knowlegde in hollywood, red carpet events must be really odd. everyone all dressed-up/spanxed/botoxed, looking so perfect. and yet you know that the each of you is an addict, hs been an abuser or been abused. smile away.....

    ReplyDelete
  8. Damn. I thought Charlie Sheen, but Rourke is hardly surprising.

    ReplyDelete
  9. OK, this reveal is horrifying, but I have to say that I usually find myself laughing at Jenna Maroney's references to Mickey Rourke on "30 Rock." Obviously whoever writes these lines knows of his reputation.

"I'm gonna to have to reinvent you. Break you down completely, and build you up from scratch. Just like Mickey Rourke did to me sexually."

"You know what they say, boys. If you can't stand the heat, get off of Mickey Rourke's sex grill."

    ReplyDelete
  10. In Body Heat he was super interesting to watch. It was short-lived. In no time at all his reputation as an ass preceded him and he got ugly. I haven't watched any of his movies since then including The Wrestler.

  11. How f*cked up do you have to be to not only think behavior like this is okay, but to have such low self-esteem, that you would put up with this?

This is beyond sad, on so many levels.

  12. I second what Timebob said.
Mickey Rourke you are one vile human being.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Who is the A-list actress? Gia Carangi was an A-list model. Possible fudge factor? Did he date Kim Basinger? (Not according to Who's Dated Who)

  14. Nasty skeevy bastard.
His gross Frankenstein's monster outside is still not as bad as his horrible nature.

  16. Christ, I even felt sorry for him when he lost the Oscar. Fuck him.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I seem to recall Kim Basinger saying working with him was miserable.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Looks like his ex-wife Deborah Feuer for the B- actress.

  19. Carre Otis has talked about this for YEARS. I believe this story is straight out of her auto-biography. They've been broken up for about 14 years.

The one who will truly suffer is him he has to live with himself. All alone .for years. The women are messed up too but if it wasnt him they were abusing themselves with it would have been someone else. He is going to be miserable forever. I dated someone with a similar personality type. I wasnt abused or passed around but the type is familiar. Many succesful types are asshole egomaniacs. Larry ellison. Weinstein .cruise. Clinton. Its all me me me me. Sex. Abuse. Drugs. Money. Power. Fame. Ego. Self hatred. Despite the trappings of success he has no love no kids no family. And he knows it. Just him and his hangers on. Lonely. Meaningless. Shallow existence. No evidence of ever loving or being loved will remain after hes gone. Just his own bad attitude staring him in the face day after day night after night. This will catch up to mickey. If it hasnt already.

  23. surfer, I have been in mentally & verbally abusive relationships, and I will say that it's a total glacier-paced mindfuck. Slowly, slowly chipping away at what you know is reality. Being constantly angry without telling you why. hair-triggered, forcing you always on eggshells.

But like I said, it's so slowly paced. And at first, the love/abuse ratio is so far apart, it's not that bad, and you 'hope' he will get better. Abuse only works when you're really well connected physically & mentally (at least IME). the abuse works because you'll do anything to keep the intensity and 'love'.

I became very good at spotting it in my late 20's, though. So no worries for me now. But it's like a breaking down of your spirit and confidence in even your own private thoughts. Soon you begin to believe everything they tell you. Like a cult with one follower.
Once you have known it, though, you can spot it from 2 towns over.

    Sorry, prattling.

  24. I thought Steven Segal was the popular guess for this one...? Anyway, f*ck him. Don't watch his stuff anyway, and now will make sure I never do.

    ReplyDelete
  25. FYI---I probably put up with what I did, b/c 'at least' I was never physically abused---unlike my mother (BOTH husbands). So I was convinced I was doing great, not getting hit n' all. If anybody knows what I mean...

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Libby
Thank you for taking the time to explain that. I think it will help more people than you realize

    ReplyDelete
  27. I seem to remember Mickey Rourke was the popular guess for this one

    ReplyDelete
  28. And this is why women especially need to know about psychopaths from a young age. Mickey doesn't have the mental capacity to ever feel remorse or shame about this. Hopefully he will die alone instead of in the arms of a kind, understanding and nurturing woman.

  29. "How f*cked up do you have to be to not only think behavior like this is okay, but to have such low self-esteem, that you would put up with this?

"This is beyond sad, on so many levels."

I work with these survivors every day, and I am SICK AND TIRED of them being blamed and judged. The psychology of DV/IPV is so complex and twisted that it's not just a case of Lifetime-Movie-"Well-She-Should-Just-LEAVE-Or-She's-STUPID." For the love of GOD.

Libby, you were far kinder to surfer than I planned on being. And I think he/she has done this victim-blaming before on other posts. And it needs to STOP.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sunny, you are so sweet, and not just to me. My experiences are not unique, but I do read friends the riot act if I spot some sketchiness in their partners!

So many my age (40) & older, we grew up with some form of wifely control as normal. DV scenes in films (like in "Far from Heaven"--even just a few slaps) literally make me nauseous from the memory of what marriage used to mean.

Thanks again for always being so nice.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I skipped The Wrestler because I can't stand this guy. I wasn't thrilled when he appeared in Iron Man 2. Who would hire this circus freak show?

    ReplyDelete
  32. He was arrested multiple times for spousal abuse during their marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  33. AKM--thanks for your words, and your work in the field.

I didn't read surfer as that negative, I dunno. I just try my best, when the subject comes up, to explain how can happen to a supposedly 'smart', non-trash person, more than once. I'm not dumb, on paper. But it is like a cult, or Stockholm Syndrome, or whatever. You forget who you are.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well put CarmeliteLady.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Perhaps his plastic surgeon was a female w/ really good radar for Assh@les and gave his face a lil KARMA!!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. This kind of stuff is why I was never feeling it during his "comeback" with "The Wrestler." His exile from HWood was self-imposed. It's not like he just stopped getting work like Jakie Earle Haley. He was one of the biggest assholes on the planet. People stopped putting up with it. He went away.

He's talented, but I don't root for him. Cheating is bad enough. But when you abuse people, I wish you nothing but the worst.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I loved this BI just for the exposure of the sick fuck. ITA with louise from the last thread: his 10 rapist friends are JUST as bad.

    ReplyDelete
  38. (And I'm so glad someone put Clinton's name in here. Because absolutely. He and his stupid cigar.)

    ReplyDelete
  39. "for the finish , adding Carrie Otis

Ah, my 15 nanoseconds of fame.

I hate to say it but Wild Orchid was one of my softcore faves back in the day.

How is it that Mel can be mostly shunned by the industry for being anti-semitic yet misogynist abusers like Mickey and Tom Sizemore are allowed comeback after comeback. What's over the line in terms of abusing women? Murder?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Libby you're exactly right. Even professionals have admitted to being fooled over and over again. Knowledge is power. Please keep explaining every chance you get. More and more people are doing this. Things will get better.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Carre Otis was never A List. B- sounds right. So WHO was the A list actress?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think the question should be, how fucked up do you have to be, to call up your friends to rape your girlfriend?!! Also, how fucked up do you have to be, to rape your friends girlfriend?!! Those are behaviors of disgusting animals.

    ReplyDelete
  43. This blind makes me so angry. I will NEVER watch or pay to see anymore of his movies. He's an animal. Period.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Never thought he was attractive in the least.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Didn't he shoot Carrie once accidentally or something?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I remember something about him shooting her. Carre Otis was huge in the modeling world back in the day. And yeah, it sickens me too to see him acting and being accepted. Sick fuck!

Also, how fucked do you have to be to say ok to coming over and gangraping your "friend's" girlfriend?

    ReplyDelete
  47. So who are Rourke's gang raping friends? I think they deserve a dose of karma too.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The at-the-time A list actress was probably Terry Farrell who starred in Star Trek Deep Space 9 and whose resume is far more accomplished than I realized.

I will never see another Mickey Rourke movie again as long as I live.

    ReplyDelete
  49. these kind of stories you can't even understand because they are so sick. or you feel like it can't be true.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Why were they so addicted to bad treatment! I can never understand , these women are powerful in their own right so what's up with the need to be with abusers

    ReplyDelete
  51. @B. Profane--Because it's much more acceptable, both in Hollywood & society at large, to abuse women than it is to go after any other group. A real man treats everyone with respect, regardless of their race, sex, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, etc.; clearly wastes of protoplasm such as Mickey aren't real men...but we knew that anyway, didn't we?

    ReplyDelete
  52. This is so disgusting...Whomever questioned the integrity of the gang banging friends s dead on the money. A bunch of effed up individuals. God I hope these ladies got help!!!
His plastic surgery now has his face looking like his insides. I thought 91/2 weeks was so hot but it's tainted now! He is one vile individual!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Libby,

I've never seen you before and I've never commented here, but I came across your comment and it's like you saw into my soul. You're right. That's exactly what it's like. Exactly.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Sorry Tanya. If you see this, thank you.
I could go on and on about 'what it's like', because it's so hard to explain how it actually happens.

I hope things are better for you now. Thanks for saying hello.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Not that shocking that Mickey Rourke is a depraved monster. It is depressing that 10 "friends" agreed to come over and gang-bang Carrie in the backyard.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Wasn't Mickey Rourke homicidally jealous though? He once sent thugs to beat up a photographer who took revealing fashion shots of Otis. The idea that he'd let 10 guys run a train on her sounds far-fetched.

    ReplyDelete
  57. One of my friends worked with Rourke at the beginning of his recent comeback and says he's certifiable. Really batshit crazy. He carries around those little dogs like totems and refuses to put them down until he absolutely has to.

His brain is definitely scrambled from all the drugs and plastic surgery. Oh - and he smells. Bleah.

    ReplyDelete
  58. His "devotion" to his tiny dogs was already comical. In light of these specific (but unsurprising) revelations, it's deranged (and still funny). Remember how wrecked he was when one of them died a few years ago? Dude, the dog was not your mom or your wife. Just drop the Chalupa & get over it.

    ReplyDelete
  59. wait. all of you believe every word of this post? i mean, there's no need to defend this kind of action, but how about a source or 2 before we go hating someone for the rest of our lives? do you really believe there was a 10 person gang rape that we didn't hear about before? one of you at least must question this.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Fuck me - why are you just swallowing this shit whole without questioning people? Mickey is a womanizer, he is a lot of things, but having his brothers gang rape Carre? Uh no. The reports of his misogyny and excess are now reaching biblical and ludicrous proportions!

If you want some info that will provide a little balance here, he happens to be one of the most loyal and down to earth people you'll ever meet. Most people won't get to see him off set or out of the spotlight. But first hand I can tell you that he's trustworthy and old school. He's not some sadist woman hating psycho.

@starstattoo - not cool. Losing a companion animal is the same for some of us as losing a child. Loki had been with him for more than a decade and a half. His love for those dogs is something to be commended not mocked. If you had a clue you wouldn't stoop so low.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Libby, yes. I've been with my husband for 10 years now, so I'm able to look back on what happened with enlightenment. You do forget who you are. I frequently find myself wishing he could see me now. How I've changed back to what I was before him. Even now I don't know how it happened, but if it could happen to me it could happen to anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  62. The sad troll writing this bullcrap is pathetic, & so are the rest stupidly believing this. You people are truly gullible. WRONG. No, MR may have been a bit tough on the ladies in his day.....he certainly did not do that ridiculous scenario concocted by spiteful imaginative jerks. No sorry, but the winter scene is a total fabrication & no that is not "straight out of Carre Otis' book"...try again. Mickey is very jealous & would never have his gf or wife have sex with anyone esp his friends. Get real people....this slanderous "blind" is all wet & so are you if you believe it.

Was Mickey an A-hole when he first got fame? Yes. Did he go through a lot of women? Yes. Did he have trouble on set? Yes. Many, many actors have gone this route so realize when a blind is real or fake.
