You know what would be an interesting and educational reality show? Following Nick Stahl around. I know recovery is a private thing, but I wonder if Nick Stahl chose to make it public, how many people it could help. I think that sometimes things get too sanitized and if you had someone like Nick out there being filmed who is struggling every second of his life to stay sober and film him on the streets where he spends so much of his time and interview his family and see what his addictions do to them that it would be something that would be way more powerful than a season of Celebrity Rehab.
For now though, the good news is Nick has been found again and is back in recovery, although not rehab.
MTV or VH1 did that with Being Sizemore, following Tom Sizemore around smoking crack or whatever it was and I loved it! I do not know who this guy is and am too lazy to look him up, but ya I would watch that show too.

ReplyDeleteHe needs to move, with his family, away from any temptation. A relative of mine only managed to keep away from drugs/booze when he bought and moved into a farm.

ReplyDeleteDid anyone see that his wife was asking for monetary donations to help care for their daughter after he went missing the second time? Meanwhile, she had just gotten a nose job, which she kept boasting about on Twitter.

ReplyDeleteYou can't find what wasn't lost. He was never ost, he just wasn't fluttering all about in the public like, oh let's say, Lindsay Lohan. Not every public person chooses to make their life public.
ReplyDeleteAddiction is HELL , just imagine you not eating food for a week and someone carry you to a all you can eat, and tell you not to touch anything, then multiply that hunger 100 times and you get the feeling
