Kristen Stewart Shows Up In Toronto

Kristen Stewart didn't want to be in Toronto. She didn't want to leave her house or go to the airport and face cameras everywhere but she did. She had to. In her contract she was forced to attend the Toronto International Film Festival for "On The Road." She had skipped other obligations, but this one she had to be there for. So, she made sure it was as comfortable as possible for herself and spent the most time she has ever spent posing with fans and signing things for them. In the past she would ignore everyone as she walked a red carpet, but someone must have given her a PR lesson because she was signing like Tom Cruise. Maybe he is the one who gave her lessons? Next wife? He probably is infatuated with how media shy she is. Not a big spender. Does not really seem all that interested in having kids. Would not mind spending long periods alone in a big house. Not that great of a career where she would overshadow him. Not that much taller than him. I think it would be the Scientology part she would not agree to.

  3. Thanks for making me not want to see On The Road, Stewart. :/

  4. Hmmmm...Tom Cruise and Kristen Stewart, good match!

  5. I don't really like her, nor do I think she's all that beautiful...but she looks pretty amazing here. I love her dress.

  6. Oh poor KStew! Must be tough to have a break up in the public eye!

  7. That dress is amazing! She (or her stylist) finally picked a good one! She looks pretty and not just stoned for a change!

  8. But do we know if SHE had anything to do with the VF piece? I mean, she hasn't come out and said it wasn't her...

  9. This was an interesting story for a week or so but I'm over it now.

  10. Damn, that dress is outstanding! Wow!

  11. @Stephanie - I concur, and must add that her hair actually looks good here, too. I feel old, because I think it's because it's pulled back so we can see her pretty face (like everyone's mom said to them 10000 times in childhood).

  12. @Frufra I know right! When I saw the pic I immediately thought "what a dress! And she's clean! PR must have gussied her up for this one!" But it works...better than her norm thats for sure

  13. Watched the Runaways last night. Solid C. Liked it a lot more than Pollock which we watched first. Free though--Library DVDs FTW!

  14. Yeah, it must be tough to have your affair with a married father of two exposed in the public eye.

But her dress does look nice.

  15. Good, marry her off to Cruise ...I like that idea since I can't stand either one of them.

  16. MISCH - Maybe she'll get sent to the hole!

  17. She looked lovely. I usually like her gowns, but not on her (and not when she rocks her Chucks, I get it, but... no). This one works, and her hair and makeup are perfect for it, too.

  18. @L Willie, I was referring to her break up with Rpats - not the actual affair.....

I guess the director guy is now the father of the year??

  19. Oh and I absolutely love that dress she is wearing! I usually don't go for the frilly look but this is really pretty without all the extra frilly:)

  20. I love that dress and her look here too. It's amazing.

  22. Do not get appeal of this skank.

  23. I'd smoke an L on a stoop with her. She's growing on me.

  24. I've liked her since I saw her in "Speak", and she was really good in "The Runaways". I think she has talent, but needs to stop stuttering.

  25. @djphob- right on!

She is gorgeous, especially when she cleans up, I can't help but to think she looks a bit like Rupert's wife in this pic.

  26. Her chin is bigger than Rumer Willis' and the ears, oh my God so big.

Her interview with the Vogue is the most crassless thing I've read in a long time. It's Lilo level.
I can't believe how anyone can like this unthankful arrogant brat.

  27. She is the queen of the portentous exhale:

    Mr Ed Neighing

  28. I want that dress. That is all.

  29. She looks great - fresh, clean, young. I am not on the hate train for her. Robert was screwing around, and she messed up, but Rupert was the one who was married, much older and should have known better. Something tells me she didn't put the moves on him but was vulnerable and he went for it. Regardless, she's young, in a surreal world, and she's finding her way. I'll give her a get-out-of-jail free card, so long as she learns from this and doesn't repeat. I think she will. And, she finally has natural colored hair and minimal make-up. She looks radiant - the best she's ever looked (except Panic Room - loved her dark blonde hair in that movie). And, A++ dress selection. FINALLY.

  30. I usually think she looks awful on the red carpet. Normally the dress wears her, she always looks so awkward and uncomfortable. I really like this look on her (for once)
I just really with she would either smile or close her mouth!

  31. I love the dress!

KStew could go with Tommy, she already has the vacant stare down pat.

  32. This isn't true that she's reluctant to sign autographs. She takes time to sign autographs for fans at official events except when it's impossible to do so because of time schedule of interviews, TV awards show. At one Twilight event, she went inside for the screening, but after official remarks before movie started, she went back outside to sign autographs - in the rain. Where she doesn't sign them is when fans try to stop her in the street, in airports or interrupt her meals, but she sometimes does that, judging by fans who post the photos.

  33. Like that dress. Reminds me of a Spanish Shawl I once had. Must go search in my treasure chest.

  34. Amber, RE : Jack Kerouac, not nearly as overrated as the NY Times review of his 1st work, but close:)

    ReplyDelete
  35. One of the all time great bitchy comments was Truman Capote's quote about Kerouac's "On the Road":

    "That's not writing, that's typing".

  41. I managed to miss most of this stuff this summer .. happens when you start the summer with a major death in the family .. but I feel sorry for this poor kid. She is so young and this is just such fodder right now.

We all f*ck up major league as youngsters .. and i just feel like crap for this kid having to go through this in public. And .. wasn't her former boyfriend a cheater? Didn't he end up with her after he cheated with her on another girlfriend? What I know about "Twightlight" and these young kids would fit nicely into a thimble with room to spare for an elephant, but I thought I recalled in my dim aging memory that that had been a thing? Perhaps not .. but the fact remains .. I feel bad for her. To have some of my own personal Middle Class, Middle America f*ck ups broadcast nationwide 24/7 for a few months would have driven me around the bend when I was her age.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I thought she was unusual in actually coming out and admitting it. No one ever cops to cheating in Hollywood. I like her. And she looks amazing in that dress.

    ReplyDelete
  43. How proud must her mum be? Look at that clean face, pulled back hair and she's standing up straight! Maybe there is something to all that nagging.

    ReplyDelete
  44. She needs to chill for awhile, take some acting lessons, then come back in about two years and blow the world away.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Didn't Kristen Stewart's Mom just direct a movie with a dude named Mapother? I woudn't bet she's that against scientology if I were you.

  46. Anonymous4:23 PM

She looks way thinner than she used to.

    ReplyDelete
  47. The dress looks nice in that cropped photo but she's probably teamed it with unlaced black sneakers. You know, 'cause she's so tuff.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm hoping Kristen has enuf smarts to avoid the cult from hell that Mr. (Miss) Cruise & Company worship. They recruit people who are vulnerable (sp) & wealthy. She'd be perfect for that fucking cult of freaks. In My opiniĆ³n, freaks like Tommy Boy Cruise gravitate towards this cult because he is vertically challenged & he wants to show he dominant at something..I hope he chokes on a gag ball.

  49. she'd make a great wife for T. Cruise, but im still rooting for him & John Travolta! XD

she looks amazing here! a little shampoo and a great designer dress do wonders!
