Blind Item #4
This foreign born male singer who is very very very very reluctantly A list although everyone wishes he was probably D list or didn't even exist is already having lots of trouble remaining faithful to his celebrity girlfriend. He told himself that after the first time cheating he would not do it again, but it has been two different women in two different weeks while still having sex with his rarely wants to do it girlfriend which is going to be the end of their relationship soon.

ReplyDeleteI think that sometimes people cheat as a backward way of breaking up with someone. When the cheater is unable to break things off because of money, fame, family, dependency, whatever then the heart/subconscious will find another way to end things. These two were made in a publicists office and it's time for this little kiddie relationship to end in my opinion. He's never going to be bigger than he was last year, and needs to go to school or get an apprenticeship with someone doing something he is talented at. Time to find a new career Bieber, your 15 minutes are over.
ReplyDeleteThere's always going to be a new flavor of the month, a new hot boy band or teen idol, new direction, one direction whatever are the new ones, and in a couple years they will be in bieber's role. Biebs needs to take a hard look at Corey Feldman and see that that's his future, or Lief Garrett, Danny Bonaduce, the other NSync boys, the Backstreet Boys, the list goes on and on. David Cassidy still sings in Vegas and is still making a living. He was big in the seventies? Thirty years later and he's still got a career. There's no substitute for class, hard work, talent, intelligence, timing, shrewdness and good management. He's a class act. How many child stars have successfully transitioned? NPH, Cassidy and Ron Howard. No one else comes to mind.

I think that All About Eve got it with Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne. I feel like I've read before--maybe on this site?--that she doesn't like sex very much.

ReplyDeleteI'll give you Jody Foster and Brooke Shields for sure Hothotheat. It seems like it's easier for female child stars than male child stars to transition. Lots of successful female stars started young, Fergie, Lindsay, Tara Reid, not sure the last two count as successful. But they at least had the potential to be successful, they just screwed it up with drugs and alcohol.

ReplyDeleteAnna Pacquin, Natalie Wood,and most notably Mickey Rooney all transitioned from child star to adult star. Some transition easily, some have issues but survive (Drew Barrymore), and some find out there's something else they'd rather do with their life. We hear more about the cautionary tales because in many cases they won't go away.
ReplyDeleteMove to the South and unfortunately you will find lots of people who like Nickleback. I know it's summertime when I'm floating down the 'lupe with a bag of wine and listening to various Nickleback and Tom Petty songs being blasted from floating speakers.

Nickleback is the ingrown toenail of the music world.
"Everyone" doesn't hate Nickelback, actually. I think people like to jump on that bandwagon because they think it's cool, but the main reason for all the hate is, oddly enough, their immense success. Also, Avril is a successful singer like her or not, but she's not just a "celebrity". This is far more likely to be Bieber, because his fans are all 12 yo girls or have the mentality of 12 yo girls so their opinions REALLY don't count.
ReplyDeleteI feel the exact same way about Nickelback fans. something is obviously wrong with them so i can discount their opinions about anything. Especially music. I actually work with a Nickelback fan who's dating a Beiber fan and they are two of the dumbest, least self-aware people I know.

Except that Bieber and Selena have been together for over a year at least. I definitely think this is Chad and Avril. Chad is known to be a total douchebag and Avril has the sex-issue rumours surrounding her.

Nickelback is the Two and 1/2 Men of bands. A ton of people must like them, but no one wants to admit it.

ReplyDeleteShortly before my wedding, I was at a jewelry store having my engagement ring cleaned so it would be all sparkly again for the wedding. The goldsmith cleaning my ring was singing the Nickelback song "RockStar" as he did it. I wanted SO much to just say, "Give it back! I don't care what it looks like after all!" After several minutes, I couldn't take it anymore, and I finally said, "Wow, you mean some people not only don't change the station when that song comes on, they actually learn the lyrics?" And he said "Oh I love that song." Yes, evidently. I think he also likes Kid Rock.
