Blind Item #4
This B+ pop singer has had some huge hits and has an unusual name. She also takes a lot of flack about her weight. She thinks that if she drops 40 pounds she can be an A lister and get a shot at judging a talent competition show. She has started popping Adderall like candy in order to lose weight. No exercise for her though. She says she is way too lazy for that.
She's way too lazy to exercise yet she thinks she isn't too lazy for a real job where she has to answer to other peoples schedules? Assuming she called the shots before, if she's a solo artist.

ReplyDeleteI'm going with Ke$ha. I've seen a lot of pics of her recently, and she's slimmed down a lot (she also looks like she's trying to make her image a bit more feminine.)

ReplyDeleteI read something yesterday with Beth Ditto talking about her weight, but I don't know if she has songs that are well known in the states. She's a bigger star in the UK, but perhaps there's a Daily Mail connection?

Can Adderall harm your child if you're breast feeding though? Adele just had a baby so I can't imagine she'd be taking something recreationally if she is breast feeding (clearly I don't know if she is or isn't). I could see Kesha doing this though, I remember when she wore this two piece suit at the beach the gossip columnists tore her apart.

ReplyDeleteI like the Ke$ha guess. Kelly Clarkson & Adele aren't unusual names. Remember those horribly unflattering pics of Ke$ha on the beach in a black bikini last year, I think? She was shaped like an incredibly bulky rectangle in comparison to her "TiK ToK" video. She's also had some other unfortunate drug-fueled pics released, but I can't remember specifically what off the top of my head. I wouldn't put adderall past her.

ReplyDeleteI'm all for people being at a comfortable weight, but I don't think Aguilera looks like she's at a comfortable weight. She looks heavy, and not in a good way. I can see this being her, but the clue is for a weird name, or whatever, so I'll guess Kesha, although I think if she lost 40 lbs, she'd be too thin.

Jordin has already lost 50 lbs and has been on several health mags. Could be her, though, if she's trying to keep the weight off.

kesha is a good guess. but she is also just releasing her album, doing press for it, etc. no time for tv show.

ReplyDeleteShe's a b pop singer, had some big hits, she wasn't parented at all, her mother left her alone and said don't get knocked up as the only parting advice. She's dirty, unpolished, and immature enough to do something like this and to openly admit that she's too lazy for exercise. She's dropped alot of weight recently too.

ReplyDeleteWhether you like her singing or not, Kesha writes some of the biggest hits on the radio. She wrote hits for Britney, and that damn Party in the USA song everyone was singing for a year. Tik Tok was everywhere, too.
Kelly Clarkson was already on a singing show--"Duets." It failed, but she already had one. Also, like others pointed out, her name isn't unusual.

ReplyDeleteIt is not Jordin Sparks. Jordin recently starred in a movie with Whitney Houston and got pretty rave reviews. She has slowly lost weight over the past couple of years.
ReplyDeleteKelly Clarkson isn't an odd name (nor is Jordin) and she has already been on TV doing 'Duets'. Since she's engaged to Reba's stepson, I think she's just fine.
It is definitely Kesha, imho. That's the only weird name other than Gaga.

ReplyDeleteI don't think Christina Aguilera is leaving The Voice because she's gained weight and I doubt even more that Mariah Carey wouldn't have gotten the Idol spot if she was still carrying baby weight - so how does losing weight get you a spot on a judging panel? Whoever it is is a dumbass. But it wouldn't surprise me if it were Gaga - although the only person I've heard criticising her for weight gain is herself - I couldn't even see it when she posted photos of her supposed lard ass.
