This is the Pacific. It's actually from a few years ago. I was visiting Japan with my mom. I was on a bus full of tourists and just had to go in the water (note dorky travel purse)! This spot is Miho Beach at the Hagoromo-no-Matsu pine tree. A magical place!

Yay! We made it. #4 here. Family photo from Halloween 2012. @Janet296.. I'm in the Jem (Jem and the Holograms 80's cartoon) costume..hubby is Rio (Jem's boyfriend), daughter is Fiona from Adventure time, her boyfriend didn't dress up, and my boys are Iron Man and Captain America. @Jules_345... that is- so cool that your kids were the same this year as mine.
I'm #5. With my oldest daughter on her 19th birthday. 2 weeks after her 18th she was in an accident and we were told she would either die or be a vegetable. She has since made me a grandfather. This birthday was the most special because it was the one we never thought we'd see! Don't let your kids get on ATVs!!!
Love seeing all these pictures! I'm #1! And I have to agree with the need for a CDAN calendar! A lot of great looking people! We can make it a calendar of good looking people with cats!

No, in #4 I'm not dressing as a sports mascot or in a Halloween costume. I'm being suited up to play Clifford (y'know, the Big Red Dog) for some kids during Children's Story Time at a Barnes & Noble. I really wanted to find the one of me in a skintone bodypod for the visit we made to CHOC as Toot and Puddle (who are pigs, by the way), but I have no idea where it is. Which is probably for the best, because it's a truly bizarre photo.
