On Friday night, Sofia Vergara stayed out really late partying with her stripper and coke and orgy loving boyfriend. On Saturday Sofia checked into the hospital with what her reps called the flu. Somehow though she was able to work an entire day yesterday on the set of her show(above). That was the fastest recovery every for the flu. If it was the flu. The initial reports were that Sofia was hospitalized for a surgical procedure and that was scrubbed for the flu. I like the first reports better and makes way more sense.

Maybe she had some bad ecstasy or something? or drank too much, and had alcohol poisoning? bad coke? whatever it was, it's too salacious to tell the truth about it. If her fiance likes coke, strippers and orgies, the do you really think she's at home in a granny sweater, knitting and making lasagna? No way, she's partying right next to him.

ReplyDeleteA really super-bad hangover can be helped with an IV drip and some oxygen. Like 24 hours help. Like I was puking and sweaty and feverish and it must be the flu and not the vodka help.
ReplyDeleteI had a friend who did some baaaad coke and had to go to hospital. He said he felt like a knife going through his nostril! He was ok the next day.
ReplyDeleteGenerally, I recover a lot quicker from the flu than surgery. OTOH, I have never once had to be hospitalized for the flu.
ReplyDeleteOoh I was hoping we'd hear about this. Did anyone see the picture she tweeted of herself during the Oscars? It was a TERRIBLE pic of her and she said she was staying home not to infect anyone. It sounded like she was over compensating for the hospital stories and was like seeee see I'm not at the hospital, I'm just home sick with the flu. But her face looked GODAWFUL and it was a black and white pic. I want to know what happened!

But yeah, like why is it black and white, her one eye is shut and she's sticking her tongue out but her mouth almost also looks swollen. It just seemed really convenient of her to tweet a pic of herself in bed instead of maybe like a picture of crackers soup and tissues or something...

Oh so it's not bogus! Sites were going back and forth on this all Sunday. But here we are with a pic of her performing an illness. Looks damn good for someone sick. I'm not saying she wasn't, just jealous.

It turned out that she was never in the hospital... She easily could have had a 24 hour stomach bug on Saturday and been fine today. (I realize a stomach bug isn't the actual flu, but people call it the stomach flu all the time.)

ReplyDeleteI know from personal experience that there is an overnight detox used by those in the public eye. I was in the hospital for a problem related to diabetes when someone, agent and all was brought in. Her agent and manager were screaming about the need for security being guaranteed since she had to be before the cameras in 24 hours.

ReplyDeleteI agree that she easily could have had the stomach "flu" (food poisoning), which can send you to the hospital, and be pretty okay 24 hours later.
If she had food poisoning, why were the odd "surgical procedure" stories floated at all?

ReplyDeleteHer being admitted and having survey was false. You can be ick, get dehydrated and go to the hospital to be hydrated via IV. It happens A LOT.
