My cat does this all the time with my feet under the covers. I'm so glad they revealed what the 'ghost' was at the end or it would have drove me insane!
One of my cats likes to protect Daddy from the evviiiill thing under the covers (feet) and she likes to surf on our down comforter. Hates the duvet on it, no traction no sliding around.
