Angus T Jones Won't Be Back But Two And A Half Men Will

There are enough people out there watching Two And A Half Men that CBS renewed the show and agreed to pay John Cryer and Ashton Kutcher about $700K per episode which means they will be pulling in about $20M each for the season. Not bad work if you can get it. Angus T Jones will not be back except as a guest star. He plans on going to college which is great, but I bet he will be kicking himself later for passing on the millions he would have got if he kept his mouth closed about the show last season. It is really tough to walk away from the $300K he was making each episode. Even the show moved to Thursday nights, it has been doing pretty well and no one wants the steady work to disappear so everyone signed on pretty quickly.

  3. He ain't crying now but he will be after a few bad investments and that church sucks him dry.

But he is being true to his moral code. In respect that.

  4. I don't care. As long as Kootcher stays on CBS, I won't see him.

  5. He's not leaving the show, he's just not a series regular. He will still be a very regular reoccurring guest star. He's not going to be hurting for money for a very long time, if ever.

  7. Seriously, who watches this show? If it's something people are drawn to after smoking a blunt, then I'd understand.

He made a good choice to go to college, though. Child stars should always have something to fall back on. If he's smart with the money he's already made, kid is set for life.

    1. My mother in law loves this show at least the reruns. But sadly she also is suffering from dimentia. Maybe she appreciates the simplicity.

  9. Actually, when you really believe something, or in something, it's not very hard to walk away from something that doesn't match up to it.

What you and I would think is " set for life" and what someone who is used to having that kind of income think is "set for life" are two completely different universes away.

  12. The show has been doing VERY well since AK was hired on, to the tune of more than 14 million a week. That's a lot of people in denial! I'm still watching, and the show is no better or worse than it ever was. It just is what it is. However, I AM pleased to see that it's still keepin' on without Charlie Sheen, which proves what I believed ever since the first season...he was never really the star, or the point, of the show. Anybody can play the good-looking, wealthy guy whose life is a fantasy, and the show remains what it is.

  13. I like the idea of this young man choosing to go to college and live a bit of normal life.
I just hope Conchita Ferral is rich, I like her.

  14. I hate the intro song to Two and a Half Men after Big Bang Theory! It drives me batsh*t crazy the way Ashton Kutcher sticks his tongue out each time he pronounces the 'n' in many and men.

  15. Put the money in the bank now, go to college later. You go to college for a variety of reasons, mostly to get a degree and onto a job. He has a job that pays more than most college educated kids will ever make. He's not Jodie Foster or Natalie Portman who can take a break and come back. And of course, he's not a girl...

  18. I watch the show, Its actually really good. The show is fresh and new with John Cryer as a co star instead of a supporting character . Ryan Stiles is a great reoccurring character I wouldn't mind seeing even more of.

  19. I watched it when Rose was on. I really liked her character and the mother and Berta. I never could stand Alan and his stammering way of speaking.

  20. My ex loved this show, thought it was hilarious and even started wearing the Charlie Sheen shirts. And that's just a couple of the many reasons he's an ex.

  21. Jon Cryer is really funny. Ashton can't really act, but the show is still funny. And I REALLY hate to admit this. The end of the Charlie Sheen era was just sex talk disguised as humour. I was embarrassed if my teenage kids wer in the room. But I still watch trainwreck charlie in Anger Management.

  22. The writing for Jon Cryer is an insult to anyone with an IQ over 50. As for Angus, he is making the biggest mistake of his life. Take the 8-9 million next year and then go to college when he wakes up from this dream.
