Blind Items Revealed

November 27, 2012

This real housewife recently went on vacation. She wants the world to think the family has plenty of money and that the luxury vacation proves it. Reality is that the vacation was paid for by a company in exchange for photos to be sold and the family is more broke than they have ever been and if not for the show would probably be living at the in-laws house.

  1. If they file for bankruptcy and get to keep that ridiculous house I'm going to be pissed. I think it should be absolutely a felony to rack up that kinda debt like Teresa did and then file bankruptcy.. I get things happen but I think you should be forced to downsize home and drive a 1985 hatchback instead of a damn range rover. Jmho

    1. Peter - totally agree. The banker that allowed that loan should be up for fines and charges too. Over the top loans to folks who are barely solvent hurt everyone.

    2. It was not the bankers fault. Joe gorga bought that house with a construction loan. It's a spec house.

    1. Pho real.. Although, I don't envy them. The stress of keeping up that charade would drive me insane. House of cards always end up falling down eventually.

  3. Does anyone on jersey actually have $???

  4. @prima, I really don't think so. It would appear Richie is the only financially sensible one. The rest, the joes, Albert, Chris...all into the shadiness..

  5. @hannah didn't he get in trouble with Exxon Mobil and not paying his landscapers?? I don't think he's in debt the way they are, but I think the others you mentioned must have some connections with loan people in Jersey and all was well until 2008 happened. Jmo

  6. I was watching the marathon on Bravo yesterday...their house is insane. How do you go from that to broke when you're making $250k to be on the show? Overspending, I suppose. Just crazy.

  7. Richie owns 5% of the gas stations. He pumps has for a living. Kathy is a hairdresser. This has been around for awhile

  8. Kathy and Rich's house, while very nice, is a LOT more humble than the mansions in which the others on the show live.

Jacqueline and Caroline's houses = relatively tasteful
Teresa and Melissa's houses = garish and overdone

    JMO, of course

  9. Teresa's hubby and brother got mutz for brains. They are like dumb Oompa Loompas, dipped in olive oil and rolled in back hair.

Notice the vowel on the end of Jerkula? I'm a McWop, I can make those jokes.

  11. She may have to start swallowing other guys 'poison' and earn some real cash.

  12. From what I've read, the Wakiles went into debt as well to upgrade their image to get Kathy on the show.

According to Joe, he's paying for his parent's rental house as well--so maybe they'll all have to go move in with Tre---that would make a great Bravo spin-off.

  13. @katie how long can they technically even live in that house then?

  14. Albert and Caroline have money. Their business, The Brownstone, is a very popular venue in Northern New Jersey.

  15. @Veech Popular? Yes. Somewhere you'd want to celebrate your occasion? No.

My family and I toured the venue 2 years ago looking for a place to throw my dad a surprise 50th birthday party. It smelled really bad inside, and the people working there were rude/pushy. Just google "brownstone reviews"...enough said.
