Kellie Pickler Wins Dancing With The Stars

I really thought Zendaya deserved to win Dancing With The Stars and would win, but it was not to be, as Kellie Pickler has finally won a reality show. In last nights final, Kellie narrowly edged out Zendaya who finished second. Does it really matter where the other two people placed or how they did, because, honestly in about two weeks you will forget most of the people who were on this season or get them mixed up with other seasons. You probably will remember that Kellie won.

  1. Zendaya's got a future ahead of her - if she can get Disney to unlink her from the annoying little red-headed anchor around her Disney Channel neck.
Kelly's name has been notable despite her previous "losses" so this will just keep her 15 minutes going.

  2. I was rooting for her b/c the 'old Enty' used to vouch that she is truly a nice person. I can't stand DWTS though, and didn't even know Kellie had that haircut...

....because I went to a new hair person just yesterday and said 'do whatever, just chop it off', and I found out last night when she won DWTS, that it's an exact Pickler 'do! Maybe the hair lady is a big fan.

  3. She shaved her head to support her best friend who has cancer. :) I like her

  4. Wow, I didn't know the other person was Disney. That's the talented-child-grinder. Whoa. All the best to Zendaya.

  5. From the few episodes I've watched I thought Zendaya was the better dancer but good for Kellie.

  6. All I know about Pickler is: She's dumber than a box of rocks. I remember her on Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader and clearly, she was not. She was painfully dumb.

  7. Kellie absolutely deserved to win. While Zendaya is a very talented dancer, Kellie was more emotionally expressive and could do moves no one else could.

  8. Zendaya should have won; she was awesome throughout the show. Kelli and Zandeya were the only two I would watch. While they both had great moments I think if you look at the competition as a whole Zendaya out performed Kelli.

  9. Kellie shaved her head to support her friend with breast cancer, and it is growing out. Hence, the short hair.

Her freestyle was so much better than anyone else's, so I can see why she got the votes. I'm happy for her.

She's had modest success on the country charts, so I think she's had more than fifteen minutes.

Good luck to her and Zendaya.

  10. Oh I'm happy to see that she won. I feel like Zendaya was a ringer--every season they have someone on who has dance experience and they out-dance the people who've never done it.

I think Kelly hasn't done much dancing but she is fit and has the natural ability, and Derek has a great track record for teaching people.

I've always liked her--she had a hard life growing up and then made it to Idol--and then took every single opportunity to make a career for herself out of that. I think this will give her a lot of main-stream exposure that will help her keep doing that. She's not a great singer--she's ok, but she is entertaining and I bet she'll use some of the dance experience to improve her performances.

    1. So Kelli should have won just because she had a hard life?

We already have enough dumb as a box of rocks fake boob women in the business.

  11. I thought Kellie was amazing. The way she held her body and moved with such expression...

    Both were really great.

  12. i agree with renoblondee about the emotion of kellie and although i looove her (mainly because of her ellen interviews... girl is dumb but a box of rocks is not as entretaining or funny as she is) i wanted zendaya to win... just because i feel she was a lot more passionate about it and i like val a lot! he is not only hot but i loved the way he protected her because he was only 16.. dressing her in age appropriate dance outfits and
he seemed to be pretty fair and honest this season.. it would have been his first win against derek's fourth

  13. she's from nc! i wish her the best.

  14. I totally forgot about the head-shaving for her friend. I'm so glad she won all over again!

  15. I'm happy Kellie won! Zendaya and Val were fantastic and I would have been fine with them winning too. Especially as this would have been Val's first win. But it seems like Derek is not coming back - at least next season- so that's an excellent send off for him.
I was surprised that Aly got 4th.

  16. For some reason, I don't think "I got the moves like Pickler" will catch on.

  17. Can't stand DWTS either. If even half those people are "stars" then I'm Ivan the Terrible. Also winning the show is utterly meaningless. It leads nowhere. Not that having been on "Idol" lead much of anywhere for Pickler either, unless you count performing on the corn-dog circuit as a desirable goal.

  18. I always thought Kellie would end up as the winner. Zendaya was great though.

  20. No wonder DWTS is losing viewers, I think some of the powers that be are very anti-Chmerkovskiy..Val got a taste of what his brother went through when he had better partners ( and no, I am not talking about Hope or Kirstie). Oh well Z and Val have very bright futures ahead of them, not just an additional 15 minutes.
And as far as Kellie and Derek having better dances, Zendaya is a minor there is only so much she and Val could have done that didn't borderline on something that looks illegal.. thats why there was no Rumba for Z. They did great even though they were limited.

  21. Zendaya should have won but Derek is the golden boy so I knew stiff kellie would win. I'm so tired of people saying zendaya was a ringer because she has experience dancing hip hop. Kellie was a cheerleader, had more hours to practice (since zen is a minor and her hours are limited), and had no restrictions on her dances (once again zendaya is a minor and the "sexy" factor was an absolute no-go). All those restrictions most retain lay evened the playing field.

  22. This makes my daughter very happy. Very happy indeed. She could not stand Zandeya and screamed "cheater" every time she was on because she is a dancer on her Disney show. Glad to see a nice person finish on top.

    1. But Patty how do you know Zen isn't nice; do you guys know her personally or just basing it on her character from a TV show.

  23. zendaya is super nice too.. and although she said you know what i mean a lot, like A LOT.. she seems like a really sweet girl, you know what i mean? and i agree with tuesday adams.. the minor factor is a great disadvantage, also being a hip hop dancer i think is a disadvantage because you are already used to a certain type of movement and dance and habits are harder to break than to make

  24. I thought zendaya should've won. She was the one who had the best stage presence and made me want to dance. I had a feeling kellie would win since they did the difficult moves, but I was more impressed by zendaya's diversity and ability to go from one style to the next appearing like it is effortless.

  25. zendaya is only 15. her show has dancing on it, but nothing big. anyone with a couple of years of dance (most of middle america) could do the steps. no way did kellie not have background in training that gave her an edge. i don't care, and think she deserved to win, but that kind of dance is difficult. movement and timing is a process.

the show had to be careful with zendaya. because she's just a kid, they couldn't dress her the way they could the others, and the music and dance moves couldn't be at all suggestive. they did a great job with that.

i was surprised at how bad the olympic gymnaist was. very boring and stiff. but even she said it was "the best experience of (her) life". pretty high praise. the show is doing some things right.

  26. I was so glad Kellie won!! Zendaya did dance well, but she seemed so conceited..and it wasn't confidence , it seem like enormous conceit. Again, I know she has a lot of talent, but the conceitedness took away from the dance. Kellie seemed to have the heart and soul of the dance she was preforming.

  27. I liked both Zendaya and Kelly equally, but if I had to choose it would be Kelly. Partly because I didn't want Val to get a mirror ball trophy before Maks does, if I'm being honest.

  29. I believe the theory that DWTS execs begged Hough to be on this season when whatever they did to Maksim happened. His return came with some "conditions"... the finals and a fourth mirror ball along with an able partner( she's a ringer too, very flexible former cheerleader who picked up on dancing moves and poses very easily) to name a few. Too bad this was gained by sacrificing a Chmerkovskiy once again.. bad move DWTS!!! As far as Zendaya being arrogant, never saw that at all... I never saw that from any contestant this season.

  30. Don't watch the show, but I've always liked Pickler. She is dumber than a box of hammers, but she seems to be genuine. It's the up side of being dumb, you can't be fake because you can't keep lies straight.

  31. I voted for both Kellie and Zendaya all season, sometimes more votes for Kellie and sometimes more votes for Zendaya. I thought they were both great and up until the very end I would've been happy with either winning. Then Kellie did that amazing freestyle, which I think is the best dance I've ever seen a celeb do on DWTS, and I gave Kellie all my votes for the final. I think they're both very nice people and I enjoyed the season.

  32. Also, every time I watched Zendaya I would think, "Don't do drugs!" because I don't want her to turn out like all the other young women that Disney completely f**ked up. I hope she keeps her head together and does well in the future.

  33. I've never watched DWTS, but I'm glad that I don't have to hear Aly Raisman in her monotone voice saying "hey Boston. Vote for me" ads anymore.
