Blind Item #3

This former A+ list singer who still has the reputation and voice of one, not to mention diva antics and craziness on par with Mariah Carey did not want a certain event to happen. She does not care about what it is, but does not think she can survive being without drugs for that period of time.

  1. Britney? Can think of the event though. Her Vegas residency maybe? They must be insisting on regular drug tests.

  3. I have to think the event is a pregnancy. I have no idea who the artist is.

  4. Somebody and a pregnancy?
I don't think Britney, because she has never had the voice of an A list diva, bless her heart :)

  7. Christina Aguilera and the event could be anything from catching a bus, waiting on a flight or carry a pregnancy full term.

    LOL!

  8. I think I read about Celine Dion being pregnant

  9. Celine is not crazy. Odd, yes, but not certified crazy like Mariah or Britney.

Xtina and pregnancy. She'll have to lay off the Adderall. And booze.

  12. I read this as Xtina and worried about a pregnanacy. She was definitely A+ in her day.

  14. Diana Ross. Don't know the event though.

  15. Xtina fits. She definitely has the voice for A+ status and back in the day she was A+. Diva? Of course. Always. I'd day a pregnancy could definitely put the kabosh on her new, quick and fabulous, might I add, weight loss, which was sponsored by Adderall. Her new drug of choice which definitely a baby would put a damper on. Not to mention ruin her new found figure.

Not that I agree with this but it seems to fit the BI.

  17. I wonder if it's a tribute event? Those shows are loooong. Maybe it's arthritis medication. I could see not wanting to sit through one of those in uncomfortable auditorium-style seating.

  19. Chrissy, as a Britney fan, I totally agree. I've never loved her for being a diva, she's in a special class of her own, more like beauty queen plus celebrity mess plus aging child star plus pop singer.

  20. I don't think it's a pregnancy or Brit's Vegas stint because "event" makes it sound like it's a one-time, few-hour deal like a concert or live show. A hard-core drug addict wouldn't even consider getting pregnant, and anybody who's been to Vegas (at least with me) knows if you need something there, it can be arranged if you have the money.

I like the Diana Ross guess, especially considering that hilarious drunk-driving dashboard cam from a few years ago. If not her then someone else (?) and some type of live TV would make sense. A few hours with the spotlight and a camera on you would kill any druggie.

  21. Honey, Diana Ross's uterus hasn't sponsored a monthly egg in probably 20 years.

  22. If it's a concert they will do the drugs anyway so it can't be Diana. It has to be someone that has to stop for a long period of time. Xtina?

  23. The Kennedy Center Honors with taping, several performers, speeches and the receptions before and after seem like forever.

  24. I like the awards-show guess...Liza?

  25. Anna - I think you're onto something w/ the Kennedy Center Honors, but AKM - Liza? Did anybody ever consider her voice "A-list"? Plus, the blind implies that it was an event that didn't happen, unless I'm reading it wrong.

And Sexy Jesus, there's no reason to be a d*ck.

  26. I just don't think of a pregnancy as an "event"..... I was picturing the Kennedy center thing or something like that.

I wish people would be more respectful when they disagree. When you look at the blind items revealed, many times the real answer wasn't the most popular one, but it was one that was suggested. If people shoot down people's ideas for being "stupid" then people will no longer make guesses that stray from the "norm". Plus, it would be a shame to have our instant commenting taken away.

  27. This is totally Xtina. But I don't know what the event could be.

  28. Cristina Aguilera using the white powder to get thin, she could not use it if she was pregnant.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I guess it COULD be a pregnancy, but the word 'event' makes me think of something shorter than that. A long concert maybe? Or a tour?

Christina would fit. She's lost weight, which could tie in with the drugs thing. She also had an A+ list voice and status back in the day and has been known for diva behaviour.
