Can't Hardly Wait - June 12, 1988

I can't believe it has been 15 years since this movie has been released. If you have never seen it, everyone who stars in it or appears in it with a speaking role seems to have gone on to greater things.

  2. Excellent movie. The ending was a little too sappy, the idea of people finding "true love" in high school fairly preposterous, but other than those things it was great.

  3. How bizarre, I just rewatched this two days ago. It doesn't hold up too well but it's definitely still funny and more in keeping with the 80s films.

Also, I'm guessing that's an Enty typo? It definitely wasn't out in '88.

  8. Ethan Embry was so adorable when he was young. By the time Sweet Home Alabama came out, he looked like a completely different person.

This is one of my go-to movies when I need a good pick-me-up.

  9. I have always said I don't care how many vampires, doctors, or vampire doctors Peter Facinelli plays, he will always be Mike Dexter to me.

  10. Uh, huh?
    :-O
1988 was 25 years ago, not 15. Thnks for cutting ten years off all our ages, though. I love being 29 again!

  12. This was the first movie I went to see with out adult supervision. I was 9 years old! Was also psyched to see they filmed at Johnny's Broiler (now bobs big boys) bc I lived in Downey for a while.

  13. Haven't been able to trust Enty's movie recommendations since he came on here pimping a - cough, cough - Dax Shephard film a while back. And I mean that was as bad a film as has ever been made!

  15. Aw memories...I remember seeing this in the theater right after 8th grade graduation.

Pretty much everyone in my grade was in the theater and I somehow ended up sitting next to my crush (who barely knew I existed). Good times!
