Joe And Teresa Giudice Plead Not Guilty - NY Daily News Calls Teresa Fat

Well, I guess we know how the NY Daily News feels about Teresa Giudice and how she should be managing her time since being indicted on 39 federal charges. She should be on a diet and in the gym. Yesterday, while reporting on the not guilty plea that lawyers for the couple entered on their behalf, the story quickly changed to Teresa's weight. I realize there is nothing particularly sexy about having to report on a simple not guilty plea, but there must be something to rehash other than making this comment, The stress appears to be getting to Teresa, who looked as if she hasn’t missed too many meals since being indicted last month."

I am not the biggest Teresa fan in the world, but I saw photos of her last week on the beach in a swimsuit and she looked fine. I think she picked an outfit for court that did not flatter her, but I would not call her fat. Not even close. Maybe because I have been heavy my entire life, I find these kinds of comments disturbing, but I just feel there is so much more you can focus on other than a person's weight. Shots at a personality or how she is ridiculous for staying with her husband despite him cheating on her what seems like everyday is a fair thing. Calling someone fat just seems like a cheap shot.

  1. Did the current Enty write that NY Daily news article? Actually, it's a lot less insensitive to snark on someone facing criminal charges than someone who tried to kill themselves.

  2. I don't think Teresa is fat. If someone would cut off her head, I'd hump her.

  3. You were just talking shit about Matthew Perry's weight yesterday... Have we already forgotten? As for Teresa, I think she looks fine and her weight should be the least of her worries.

    Sensitive much?

The paper shouldn't mention her stress eating? Why is weight so off limits?
    Why so taboo?

    Ugh......

  5. Who would'a thought the Count would be up (heh.) for head-less sex. ;)

So, this must be Empathetic Enty, right? Should appear more often.

  6. It's not about being 'overly sensitive' it's about reporting facts pertaining to the case/event. Whether she has or hasn't put on 5lbs is completely irrelevant. Finally enty sticking up for someone, even if it is twohead. Ugh I can't stand either of them but come one she is in good shape.

  7. Teresa may be a lot of things, but fat isn't one of them.

No...she definitely isn't fat. She's fine, but if the comment was that she'd lost a little weight due to the stress no one would say anything.

    American fatties..

    SMH

  9. If they're going to comment on fatness, why not focus on Joe???

  10. OMG. And it starts already. Jesus people. Wah wah wah.

  11. I actually think original Ent wrote this.
Not bitchy enough to be the other(s).

Did the article mention that the husband is shaped like the barrels people dump bodies in?

  12. why is that such a taboo area? being fat? It happens to alot of people. Its one of the few ok forms of body shaming, because you're only doing it "for their own good". stfu.

  13. How tall is her husband, 5'4"?

    Sheesh does he look short!

  14. "I just feel there is so much more you can focus on other than a person's weight."

Bull-fucking-shit. How about all the times you shame celebs with eating disorders for being too thin? You never miss a chance to "joke" about someone eating a single piece of lettuce and calling it a meal or pointing out how you can see someone's bones. It doesn't work both ways! Shaming someone for being fat is just as horrible as shaming them for being underweight. Go ahead. Please keep criticizing people for mental disorders that cause them to not eat, but defend people who look more like yourself.

Preach it cool cool cool! Body shaming seems to be one sided. If I choose to go public in my swimmers, I am up for public critique.

    1. @Bacon Ranch, I'm glad that this Enty defends someone who is getting trounced because of her body, I do. Especially when Teresa has nothing to be ashamed about. I'm just pointing out that the usual bitter bitch who posts is always harping on people's weight when the people in question are thin and now says that people shouldn't focus on weight. Okay.

"Calling someone fat just seems like a cheap shot". Follow onto Enty's withering commentary on Matthew Perry's fondness for a buffet.

  19. My hair is starting to recede at the temples. Wishing I could borrow a good 2 inches of Theresas forehead before she becomes some butchy jailbirds gorilla bitch for life.

    3. Her hairline weirds me out. I don't think I've ever seen a human with a hairline almost connecting with their eyebrows. Her forehead is almost non-existent.

  20. Fugazi Enty gots y'all dancin at the end of the strings.

  21. Now THAT I completely agree with cool cool cool.
    You're absolutely right.
    So are you, Count.

  22. I don't take any of it seriously though, Bacon.

  23. Her weight hasn't changed it's her outfit. She's covered up for once in fabric thicker than spandex.

    ReplyDelete
  24. (1) Pantsuits don't flatter anyone. Lets be honest.

    (2) I've seen her in person and she is way more tiny than she looks on the show (and I think she looks skinny on the show). She is just surrounded by tiny people all the time. Call it the Khloe Kardashian effect.

  25. IT'S SERIOUS BUSINESS COUNT.

How many times do I have to send the f*cking memo? Corporate is already on me for toner and copy paper.

Not to mention how you spend company time 'exploring' other websites.

(Did you find that candy crush cheat code for me?)

  26. It's the cut and color of that pantsuit. The button on the jacket hits her too high and makes it look like she has a tummy. She's not fat--she never has been--she was even pretty thin when she was pregnant.

  27. I was just coming here to say Thursty & Wenty are obviously job-sharing this gig but y'all beat me to it.

  28. Full disclosure: I've been a Teresa fan, and I still might be. Anywho, she has a wonderful figure, in my eyes. She's curvy and fit/slender at the same time, and when she got her new boobs, they weren't over-the-top and they totally work with the rest of her body.

Wait, hold the phone...in what post did "Enty" insult my Matthew Perry?! NOW I'm livid...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Agree that pantsuits are where sexy goes to die.

I love when the writers of this blog try to act as if they are above petty insults and tear-downs. For shame!!! Just yesterday, you were poking fun at a woman who COMMITTED SUICIDE. It's as if 2000 Perez Hilton writes this shit sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Does anyone know where it is that those barrels that you put bodies in can be ordered from?

    ReplyDelete
  31. @ Count- thanks! Much love to you! We just had 2 bodies found in a storage unit not 1/2 mile from where I sit working diligently; these ladies were transported up from Alabama- hope the villain used one of the super duty drums, as I imagine that the bodies probably didn't keep too well.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't understand putting a body in a drum. Better to have it decompose quickly in the ground or chap it up and throw it in a body of water.

Now if you poked a couple holes in the drum, so it sunk in a lake, I could see using one.

  33. So, this is NOT the same Enty that took several jabs at Kevin Federline in a single article the other day? You know, the one about his wedding? At which he looked really good, and much fitter than a few months ago?

The Enties need to get in sync.

    ReplyDelete
  34. If Theresa is fat, then I am a pig.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Agreed, Enty. Unnecessary comment and totally inaccurate and insulting to all women - and men - who aren't cover girl/boy perfect.

Who is the Daily News employing to cover this, Tracy Anderson?
