  4. Actually, I don't like olives either, but I love tapenade. Which is olives (and anchovy, olive oil, capers + other stuff if you want).

  5. Then why not have a martini with a twist of lemon?

@aemish, a martini is technically gin or vodka
with dry vermouth, olives or a lemon twist. If you add onions it is a Gibson.

brittany murphy's father has new lab tests indicating she was poisoned. The LA coroner apparently didn't test for toxins

    1. I thought they would have tested for toxins due to mold in the house? Someone on here said she died of AIDS. I'm sure AIDS and toxic mold don't mix. I suspect her husband had AIDS too and that's why they married.

That whole thing was odd, didn't her husband die just a few months later of the same 'ailment'?

  19. I never cared for martinis unless they were dirty ( olive juice) my fave was always frozen gold tequila straight up. Mmm, that is some fine smooth sipping. The heat of the tequila contrasting with the iced shot glass....OK, Big sips ;D

  24. The Murphy's Hotel in Murphy CA sells teeny anchovy stuffed olives deep fried as a snack. I have tried like hell to duplicate them in my kitchen and I will drive an hour to get them. Life is too short to not appreciated olives IMHO. They are delicious and their oil is life giving! Carry on.

  25. Meanie: What have you got against deviled eggs?!?!?!? They're eggs and mayonnaise and tasty. You're an anti-ovum aren't you?

  26. LOL Sherry, I LOVE eggs, but not deviled. I love hard boiled whites, but not yolk. It's a texture thing, I think. Just...NO!

  30. when i was a bartender, I loved making dirty martinis and bloody mary's. Lots of people told me that they were great and delicious. I even loved making them, I even loved the smell of them, but I thought they tasted so nasty. I couldn't even swallow a sip.
