This former B- list mostly television actress who does not do much of anything right now except shadow her significant other recently told the world she does not drink. She made it sound like she has never had a drink. Well, maybe she should have said that prior to her current relationship she used to drink and get wasted and pass out all the time and was a mess every non working night. Then, she learned her current man hates drinking so she pretended to have never had anything to drink.

ReplyDeleteI don't think this is scandalous or even a big deal. It's one thing to change completely for a partner, it's another to respect their wishes about certain things. My husband and I both come from families where alcohol was completely unacceptable. I drank in college but don't drink now. There may be issues with alcoholism in his family or maybe he just doesn't want his wife stumbling out of clubs. Maybe she has a problem with alcohol and he is helping her. maybe she just doesn't want to drink anymore.

She had the Gucci contract before Ryan. According to IMDB she has no new acting roles that are on the horizon and she did a hair campaign since marrying Ryan big deal. Her Gossip Girl co-star Leighton is getting many many roles. Some might argue Blake is not the greatest actress but you dont go from Oliver Stone 3 years ago to nada for no reason. It may be her choice but seems suspect

ReplyDeleteDid you all ever see the movie The Private Lives of Pippa Lee? Blake plays the younger Pippa and Robin Wright is the present day Pippa. That character had pretty much the same trajectory as Blake seems to be following now: young, wayward party girl marries a much older man and morphs into the "perfect" housewife.
