Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins Sentenced To 35 Years In Jail

I guess I was hoping for life in prison without parole or something excruciatingly painful for Ian Watkins to have to put up with every second of his pathetic life, but the former lead singer of Lostprophets was sentenced to just 35 years in jail for 13 child sex offenses including an attempt to rape a baby. The guy is evil and I hope that his fellow prisoners show Ian what they think of child molesters and child rapists.

In court today, Ian said he was deeply sorry. he was deeply sorry he got caught or he would still be doing it and when he gets out of jail he will still be doing it but will be more careful about it so he doesn't get caught. Watkins was sentenced with two mothers who offered up their kids to Watkins. Yeah, they deserve their own special place in hell. They are your kids. You gave them up to a guy because you were a groupie. You are awful parents.

Does anyone know how much of the 35 years this a-hole is actually going to serve?

  5. I am all for the death for people like this guy! Get rid of this piece of shit, what does he honestly contribute to society, besides messing up people's lives. Disgusted!

  6. He prob will get shivved in yard. Pedophiles are lowest of low in prison ranking, and its considered badge of honor to kill one. Enjoy hell pervert.

    1. I hope this is the most truthful thing to ever be posted on this site. He deserves nothing else.

    2. Hope they put him in gen pop otherwise he might be protected. Of course, 35 years of solitary would be bad too, but I'd rather he got shivved.

  8. Tried to rape a baby? WTH? Burn in hell. Seriously this person in more than deranged.

  9. Watkins must serve at least 2/3 of his sentence, so between 21 and 22 years for certain. He's 36 years old now.

The sentencing judge said he expects more charges to be brought in the future as the ongoing investigation into locating additional victims continues

  11. He will end up doing 85% of his time. Every state is different. Sex offenders cannot be helped. It's not just a physical thing for these monsters, it's in their head too. If they ever get out, they will do it again! Lock them up an throw away the key!!!!

  12. @Debbie, this is happening in the UK, not a state in this country.

    ReplyDelete
  13. And yes! I am sure there will be more charges brought against him. If you think these are his only victims, you are sadly mistaken. May God be with all the victims.

  14. This anal wart talked to a female fan (and fellow anal wart) from prison the day after he admitted both charges:

"I'm going to put out a statement on the 18th just to say it was mega lolz. I don't know what everybody is getting so freaked out about."

Yeah, raping a baby is "mega lolz", you disgusting freak.

  15. @char 7:40 AM oh okay. I wonder how it compares to the sentencing guidelines in the US? Also if they have gain time? He's a monster!!

  16. Death penalty. For all three.

  17. I pray his other victims, and I'm sure there are more, find the strength to come forward and make sure this evil monster never sees the light of day!!!!

  18. Shived is waaay too easy. I say that I hope the same group of "off hard ass pipe hitting N&GG@$" Marsallis called in Pulp Fiction find this guy, fracture his upper and lower palette while removing every tooth, then force him into a LONG life of servitude, which includes: prison yard hair braiding, endless trips to the "showers", and toothless fellatio for STD infected cons...and I mean for the ones with like syphilis or treatment resistant gonorrhea. May that be followed with an eternal burn in the pits of hell!

  19. @Debbie, according to the link I posted from a sky news reporter tweeting from court, Watkins was given an extended sentence under new guidelines for public protection.

I don't reside in the UK either, but from the sound of it they are pulling out all the legal stops to lock him away for as long as they possibly can under British law.

  20. The very LEAST justice everywhere could do for society is make irreversable vasectomy a condition for any release of pedos. This does not need to pollute the gene pool ever.

  21. My guess is he'll be put in a safe place where the regulars don't get to him. We all know the regular convicts HATE rapists and pedophiles, hence, they are separated for their safety. In cases like this, the offenders should be shipped to a third world country jail, where they they are stuck in a cell, designed for 4, with 20 grown ass men who will rip him to shreds with all items available for insertion in his cavities. SOB! Oh how I wish he suffers!!!

  22. Probably right Runswithscissors. Anyone in authority with half a brain provides high profile inmates with a top level security environment since they are accountable for what happens.

  23. Disgusting. It still shocks me at how absolutely low and horrible some human beings are.

  24. He will find out in prison what a nightmare it is being raped. He will probably find this out daily. I hope.

  25. I can't believe the two mothers who offered their children to be raped by this monster only got 14 and 17 years. Raping an 11 month old baby would kill it, and you get LESS than 20 years??? As a mother of 4 I can say without any doubt or hesitation that if I knew someone was THINKING of harming one of my kids I would rip you apart with my bare fucking hands!!!!

  27. The death penalty is too good for this scum. I say he will be dead within 3 months by his own hand

I would want this thing kept in jail for the rest of his measly life but 29 years is a start. I'm glad the whole Jimmy SoVile thing came out because now our courts can't be seen to be lenient with these kinds of cases like they used to

  28. And ps i would happily pay someone to torture that scums arsehole with broken glass every hour on the hour. And the mothers? Let them out in gen pop they would last less than 24 hours with the women there who are mothers and don't get to see their kids. Nothing like an angry woman to do damage ;)

  29. Whats the odds we get some fuckwitted bitch wanting to write to this piece of shit in prison, while he luxuriates in the nonce's wing with his Xbox & TV among the other protected human slime.

  30. It's wierd how we are disgusted about this and Chris Brown but we give R. Kelly a pass. He is just as bad.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @secretsecrets - agreed!! R. Kelly needs to be locked up. There was an interesting article I read about how even though Kelly got off on the charges he was given in that case, he was never tried for rape and he's committed numerous rapes. There's a ton of civil suits against him from people he has raped but they were dropped because he settled out of court.

  32. I loved their first hit. My daughter took me to their concert. I feel like a need a long, hot shower, but it will never be enough. Fuck him!

I loathe R Kelley, too. Love BC, and his reading on Kimmel was great, but I think R Kelley should be put behind bars for the rest of his life. I don't condone prison rape, but sometimes you just want to see karma unfold, and hope that some inmate will piss in his mouth.

  33. In Canada, someone can be labelled a dangerous offender which includes sex offenders and " Where an offender is designated by the court as a Dangerous Offender, the offender may be sentenced to an indeterminate sentence of imprisonment." The problem is I don't think these provisions are used often enough or the criteria is too lax.

Canada has one female dangerous offender - she sounds like the Canadian female version of Charlie Bronson, the character Tom Hardy portrayed in a movie. She earned her dangerous offender status in jail.

  34. This is probably one of the most disturbing and saddest, but utterly truthful comments I've ever read. This MUST change! "The saddest fact I've learned is nobody matters less to our society than young black women. Nobody."

    ReplyDelete
  35. I agree about R Kelly but this isn't about him. If Enty made a post about him I'm sure the comments would be full of hate and disgust for him and his actions.

    Why bring it up here?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hothotheat - R Kelly is mentioned here because of his (alleged) raping of multiple young girls. MadLyb's "nobody matters less" quote is from a Salon.com article about Kelly and the way he's gotten away with horror:

This is about girls, age 14-16:
"He would go to her sophomore class and hook up with girls afterward and have sex with them. .... Other girls were involved. She recruited other girls. He picked up other girls and made them all have sex together."

"The numbers of rapes that happened, the numbers of rapes that were reported, the numbers of rapes that make it to court and then the conviction rate. I mean, it comes down to something minuscule. He’s never had his day in court as a rapist."

  37. Why is this even on an "entertainment" website? Oh, I know. So all the minivan morons can chime in with their violent fantasies, devoid of ration or reflection.

And you know who's in prison? Other violent criminals. Why do you puff up with glee that one sociopath might "shiv" another sociopath? That has nothing to do with goodness prevailing. That's just barbaric. But, naturally, it's the bible lickers like "Debbie" who are the worst and who are raising another generation of idiots with no capacity for critical thinking.

  39. Writing from the UK here, he isn't eligible for parole till he's served 23 years. However, there is an issue with this sentence: it's too extensive. Don't get me wrong, I think they should hang the bastard by his toenails and let him rot, but this is quite a (comparatively) long sentence and it could be argued the judge is reacting to public and media outcry. Basically, if he has a decent solicitor (which he does) he'll probably appeal the sentence and it will probably be reduced.
But I doubt he'll survive long in prison, even if he's locked away with other peados he could get got, all peados are despicable but they seem to have their own code and a guy that likes 6 year olds will think a baby rapist is a monster (yes, this is some fucked up logic). Hopefully the whole peado/rapist wing will burn down. Job done.
