For some reason yesterday the internet decided that Blake Lively was pregnant. I don't know if she ate something and there was a photo of her or Ryan Reynolds was trying to get the focus off his two huge box office bombs or what, but the story was out there. Her publicist (who jut happens to be Ryan's and who Ryan pays for) said that Blake is not pregnant. I don't expect Blake to get pregnant unless there is a time and a place where mirrors stop to exist. The two of them combined must spend hours looking into mirrors. I don't think either of them could stop looking at themselves long enough to have sex with each other. I know Ryan said he wanted to have a bunch of kids with Blake but he also said the same thing about Alanis and Scarlett and look how that turned out. The only time Ryan has ever been serious about kids is when this A+ list mostly movie actress asked him if he would be willing to donate sperm to her. He said no. They have not spoken since.

ReplyDeleteIt just says that they haven't spoken since. Not that she wouldn't talk to him after that. Things just might have gotten SUPER awkward afterwards. He could even be the one avoiding her after that. Anyway, all I'm saying is that the story doesn't make this clear. I wouldn't be too quick to call her a bitch.

ReplyDeleteFrench Girl, the way the laws about sperm donation have been evolving in the US, your chances of remaining an anonymous donor are slim. Besides, if the baby had ended up looking like him it would have been obvious that he was the father.

I never thought Ryan wanted kids,as many opportunities as he has had to ride...why no " paternity" suits or bare backing claims. If he was that desiring, why marry/hook up with career women who would be more careful with birth control then he.

ReplyDeleteI love Sandra Bullock but, damn, that's weird asking someone to donate sperm. You're basically asking a someone to jerk off in a jar for you. I'm on his side here.
I agree he would be found out if he'd done it.
Sandra and Ryan have made movies and gone on vacations together since she adopted Louis. They are definitely still talking, though since he married Lively you don't see them together as often.

ReplyDeleteI can't fault RR for this, since that would be like someone asking me for my eggs. I actually have more respect for him now, even though I get him mixed up with the other Ryan.
ReplyDeleteHe has a right to decide who he wants to have kids with, and Bullock is petty for refusing to speak to him.
If you "donate sperm" the old fashioned way, you become daddy. That's the law in California anyway. Unless your sperm is collected through a medical clinic of some sort and then legally released to the woman as specified by law, you will be the legal father of the child.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what's the confusion about him wanting kids or not? Maybe he wants to save his sperm for the kids he DOES want down the line. I have a good male friend who was asked to donate sperm to another mutual friend and he declined, not because he didn't want kids, he just did not want to have a child with someone he was not with. I think these comments point to a huge double standard with men and reproduction.
