Today's Blind Items- Mom Sold Daughter's Virginity
One of the greatest rumors I ever heard was about this one time A+ list mostly movie actress who also had A+ list name recognition. Today she is probably a B list mostly whatever she can get actress but isn't that old and still has A list name recognition. Until recently I always thought the story was just a story but I spoke to someone recently who was involved in the actual negotiation. Well, at least one part of it. When our actress was very young her mother had a lot of famous connections and these connections showed a great interest in her daughter. They wanted t be her first. The mother, who was always willing to make a buck auctioned off her daughter. The man I spoke to represented one of the three men bidding for the right to take the virginity of the daughter. His boss ultimately dropped out when the bidding reached $2M. He said that his boss said that no woman was worth that price for one night and he could buy 100 virgins for that price. Apparently the man who did win might have had some karma kick back against him two decades later.

It had to be a girl that was acting pretty young and already had a name or no one would bid that much. Brooke fits that but others as well.

Agree with whoever said if it was Tatum, it would have been RFON, not her mom - she was addicted to drugs and lost custody of Tatum and her brother to RFON (how fucked up do you have to be to lose custody to him?!).
Don Johnson was 22 when he hooked up the first time with 14 year old Melanie and I believe he lived at her house with Mom until they moved into their own place when she was 15.

I'm working from the premise that the karma suffered by the man is related to allegations of sex with underage female (I admit that's an awful big assumption, though.) The two biggest suspects then are Woody Allen and Roman Polanski (unless I'm forgetting someone?)
ReplyDeletePolanski, 20 years prior to his legal difficulties, was still in Poland had had not made his first feature. I think it's unlikely that he'd be in a position to spend 2 million dollars in 1957. Which leaves Woody.
The allegations against Woody came out in 1992. In 1972, he would have been an established filmmaker with several features under his belt. So I think he's a very good choice for suspect.
So which young women of that era are likeliest?
Someone who a star already, even while that young. Someone with a mother who could do such a thing. And someone who's been the subject of this rumor before. Remember: "Until recently I always thought the story was just a story..."
Tatum O'Neal was just about to get an Oscar at 13, I think it was (a year later, anyway). Her mother was so unscrupulous that a court award custody to /Ryan O'Neal./ And the rumors of her parents letting their friends have at Tatum are decades old. I think she fits the criteria better than anyone else who's coming to mind.
Obviously, if the karma suffered by the man is based on anything other than allegations of sex abuse to young girls, this all goes out the window.

The comment about buying 100 virgins sounds like something an insanely wealthy prince or potentate from a country where girls are viewed as chattel would say. And if the mother of the kid was allowing her to be in tacky movies and controversial modeling jobs, he probably wouldn't think too badly about of bidding on her virginity. Teri Shields knew several wealthy Arabs, one of whose sons died in the late 90s. Could Mohammed have bought her for Dodi, only to have karma returned to him in the worst possible way? There's a connection to Adnan Kashoogi, who Teri definitely knew.
