This A+ list celebrity with A+ list name recognition has been doing some interviews. Apparently no reporters are allowed to ask any current events questions. None. They are also not allowed to ask any questions other than from a list of 25 questions which have been provided in advance. Of those 25 questions you can choose 10.
Britney Spears
I would love for her to one day have the clarity needed to write a "warts and all" autobiography. I'll bet that would be a hell of a read.

I saw an interview and she was asked why the name of her album is Britney Jean (her middle name) and she did not even know the answer and was hmming and hawing to respond...She can not sing, she can barely dance, she can not do interviews...Time for her handlers to let her move-on. She has enough money to retire on a private island. She is approaching mid 30s this is not cute it is pathetic. I feel embarrassed for people who are hardcore fans of this knit-wit

ReplyDeleteShe would of never gotten to where she is if she could not sing & dance, and she did use to be cute in interviews. I think she was too worked to hard for too long. It would not surprise me if she does have all the diseases she has been remoured to have. She has enough money, if her parents did care they would just take her home.

Sure lots of celebs have approved question lists but it's the questions that are telling. This is very believable. Brittany can't think for herself. I. The best case scenario it's done for her protection. In the worst her handlers don't want her thinking for herself b/c it could lead to her autonomy.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of bipolar people out there who break and then get back on medication. It may take awhile for them to adjust but many do ANC live normal lives. What's happening with Brittany that it's taking so long? If she's a lost cause and she won't be ok unless someone is forcing her to medicate then should she be performing? It's so sad.

whatever problems she has had she seems to be on the other side of them now......leave Britney ALONE
I saw several talk show appearances when she and Simon Cowell were flogging The X Factor and I doubt she did more than 5% of the talking on any of them. And mostly yes or no to questions directed to her. She should retire. It's cruel to keep pushing her forward into the public eye.
ReplyDeleteI think by now it's pretty obvious that Britney has two main problems, one being that she is mentally ill and the other being that she's really stupid. (Just look back at all the dumb things she said way before her breakdown, like the infamous "I like to go overseas to Canada" quote.) These two things have nothing to do with the other, it is just unfortunate for her that she's got both.

ReplyDeleteBe interesting to dredge up some old interviews of Britney pre meltdown, was she always micromanaged ie never was a rocket scientist and we just didn't notice or she's become that damaged since her meltdown?
ReplyDeleteSchizophrenia and the medication one needs to be on to treat the psychotic features of the disease are no joke tough to function on. That this young woman has a career and is able to accomplish as much as she does is a testament to not only her, but her father, and the support that Kevin gives to her via there children and not bashing her in the media. Sure, he gets paid money for being the kids father, but that is no different if he was a female parent in Hollywood. Brittney finally has a great support team with her best interests in mind. Part of her mental well being is to keep her on a schedule. Her daily schedule is working out and performing. I'm sure that she gets a break if her doctor feels it's needed. This is the one performer that gets a life long pass from me. I wouldn't wish Schizophrenia (or psychosis) on anyone, not even my worst enemy.

ReplyDeleteI saw her on TV after she covered "Satisfaction" years ago (late 1990s?) and a reporter asked her how she felt about singing the line about "girly action". She just stared at him blankly. You could tell she had no idea what he was talking about. Not the slightest hint. Finally she stuttered something about, '"I've always liked that song. It's a real good song," and then there was silence. Finally the reporter asked her something else.
I remember being surprised at how unprepared she was. Nowadays it wouldn't surprise me one bit, except that nobody would be allowed to ask her that question these days.
Sounds like a George W. Bush press conference.

ReplyDeleteYears before her breakdown, an old friend of mine who's a radio announcer, interviewed her. She said she was super-sweet, but dumber than a box of hammers. And she was lobbing softball questions at her.
ReplyDeleteAlso you all assume her father and others are making her work. If she did not want to work any longer it would not be happening. All she would have to say is she is tired, she wanted to quit to either her doctors, her court appointed attorneys or the judge and that would be the end of it. She would be retired so fast. In no way is she some prisoner or some puppet. Though they may ask her questions and such if she honestly wanted to quit then that would be honored.
