Blind Item #1
This long married permanent A list entertainer(singer) has been through a lot the past two years and it is really causing a big rift in his marriage. The singer has been spotted hanging out with a blonde who is about half his age and judging by all the groping and touching and his lack of wedding ring, perhaps this east coaster should finally call it quits with his wife before he gets openly busted.

ReplyDeleteIf the problems with Sambora are what the Enty is referring to then it's Bon Jovi. I don't think Springsteen has been through anything that would cause him problems.

ReplyDeleteDiscussing my drug addiction, my shrink said there is a phenomena of people who are prescribed pharmaceutical opiates for legitimate reasons getting hooked, cut off by their physicians, and turning to street smack because black market oxycontin is so expensive. This strikes me as being strange because kicking an oxycontin jones involves a mere week of flu symptoms - no big deal.

ReplyDeleteI agree, Nutty--sometimes Enty's ratings seem a bit arbitrary though and I didn't feel like digging through the list. I grew up in the 80's. Listened to a lot of Bon Jovi. :-)

@laura Strange things happen to some men at midlife. It's too bad that instead of getting counselling about their feelings re aging that they blame their partners for not looking like 25 yr olds. I've seen the same thing happen with women at 30 or so re relationships and wanting children.

ReplyDeleteJBV has screwed around on his wife since the very beginning, and apparently she's cool with that as long as all the bill payments clear. So I don't think we'll be hearing a divorce announcement anytime soon. Can't imagine why any child of theirs would turn to drugs. *eyeroll*

DeleteI am a little torn about these marriages where the celebrity/ millionaire husband cheats on long-time wife (and she knows it.) To be a successful singer, actor, athlete - there's a lot of travel, narcissism, sluts and gold diggers looking for sex with someone famous in the hopes of getting pregnant or rich.
ReplyDeleteIf there is some residual love and friendship between husband and wife and the cheating is just hot sex, maybe if the guy uses a condom and has a vasectomy, saving the family and the relationship is worth it. Being Mrs. So and So for life is better than being dumped for a 25 year-old and watching your kids get replaced by a new passel of brats.
I'm not saying he cheats but anyone remember the first Mr. Tom Hanks? She was an actress too.

ReplyDeleteAccording to an old website called GroupieCentral, JBJ has cheated on his wife from the start. It is also rumoured that he was the one that got the site shut down as he wanted to break into Hollywood & needed a more conservative image. It was also on that site that I first read Jesse James was cheating on Sandra Bullock, but Sandra was so beloved the person responding to the groupie judged her & told her to back off!
ReplyDeleteI also know for a fact that Bruce approached a very attractive young lady on holiday in Queensland & introduced himself. She was so young she had no idea who he was. He got her tickets to his concert & got her parents tickets for another concert. I do not know if anything untoward happened, however my friend & I who went to his concert had to wipe the drool off of us when we were leaving. He is in amazing shape & puts on a great concert.
JBJ has had a lot more happen recently than Bruce, though Bruce experienced a huge loss. I think he's honestly too busy to cheat at the moment - he just released an album and tours a LOT more than Bon Jovi, and of course since Patti tours with him it's probably hard to stray during those times.
ReplyDeleteIf Bon Jovi married before he was famous enough to have a pre-nup, I can see him doing anything to avoid a costly divorce. Civilian spouses get used to being Mrs. or Mr. Big Star. They tolerate a lot of shit to keep that position.
ReplyDeleteNah, it was after Bon Jovi hit it big but he married his high school sweetheart. She'd never turn on him, right? Even if he couldn't keep his pants zipped! Sorry, I have zero respect for women who look the other way. It gives guys the idea that they can cheat.
