Blind Item #3
At an event the other night, this spy was part of a group of six that included this A list mostly movie actor and his A list mostly movie actress girlfriend. The spy was appalled at the way the actor treated the actress. When he was talking if she tried to interrupt or say something he would tell her to be quiet because he was talking. When she didn't want to go outside so he could smoke he told her that she had to and she went. It was just one thing after another all night and the actress seemed to be oblivious to the fact that she was being treated like crap.

ReplyDeleteCharlize likes to chain smoke, too. It's nice that adoption agencies will hand over babies to middle aged single women who chain smoke pot and cigarettes and are never home to raise a child as long as they are celebrities. A dog rescue group has more scrutiny.

DeleteNo disrespect to Charlize but from what I have heard, her mom was in an abusive relationship when Charlize was growing up... her mom terminated the man in the end. Perhaps Charlize is drawn to men w/a mean (controlling) side, as she was raised in that type of situation. I'm not a therapist.. just a thought.

DeleteI am no fan of Sean Penn, but I don't believe Charlize is totally under his thumb. They were in my husband's bar the other night and seemed like any normal couple out for a drink. She was very nice and friendly and he was a little stand-offish. Then they came into a restaurant where we were dining and she was leading him through the place, not the other way around. They seemed very chill.

ReplyDeleteI've always assumed Charlize Theron's attraction for Sean Penn stems from her own childhood. Her father was shot/killed by her own mother because of domestic violence/abuse. Psychologically she may feel more comfortable with a similar type.

Penn is Penn and everyone knows the score. His talent, politics, humanitarian work, rage and shitty personality are all genuine and will not change.

No surprises with either of them and they are well matched. You buy your ticket, you take your ride.
The above comments about Charlize being attracted to this type of man because of her abusive father are spot on, that's how attraction often works unfortunately.

ReplyDeleteFor the answer to Why is Charlize with him: She is nearing 40, was never in a huge money maker that is filling her account with residuals, so she is probably looking to latch onto retirement dick, with a fat wallet. No one wants to wind up like Cameron.
