Sherri Shepherd Divorcing Her Husband

After divorcing her first husband because he was cheating on her, View co-host Sherri Shepherd said she had finally found the right guy when she married writer Lamar Sally. Less than three years later Sherri is filing for divorce. Well, actually according to The NY Post, Sherri is just separating from her husband, but lets face it, chances are good it will be a divorce. Sherri does not have good luck when it comes to love. She got divorced from her first husband in 2009 and then pretty much ended up with Lamar shortly after. Maybe it was a rebound thing. At what point does it not become a rebound? Is it a rebound if it is the first relationship after a split, no matter the time frame? If you are not with anyone for a year and then find someone, is that a rebound? I think a rebound should be anything within six months. After that, it is not a rebound. What about if you date someone right after a split but then stop dating that person. Is the next person a rebound if it comes within the six month window?

  2. It's amazing to me how quickly people will abandon their religious beliefs. She's spoken out about how important her religion is and how gays are sinners but she's about to be on her second divorce. Hypocritical asswipe.

  5. Wut da fuq is Enty going off about all this rebounding for?! I don't think rebounds are necessarily linked with some time frame...

  7. She's not all that Christian, the reason why she had trouble getting pregnanat with her son is due to the fact she had multiple abortions.

    1. Exactly!!! She's walking around with a graveyard for a womb! She pissed me off when she said "I don't know how many abortions I've had, I lost count". Wtf!!

    2. Wow. If she really said that, i think she already feels bad about it so i dont think we need to say anything.

    3. I didn't think religious people believed in abortions?

  8. I can't stand her. She is so stupid that it makes me legit angry when she speaks. Don't understand why she's even allowed on tv. Not at all surprised she's getting divorced.

  9. @Regina Phalange: So if a man cheats on his wife, she shouldn't ask for a divorce cause of religious grounds?

And a rebound is only good for one thing... to B A N G the sadness out of you and leave them.

  10. Sherri Shepherd, Starr Jones and eventually Niecy Nash , all remind me of one another ...very "thirsty" when it comes to being married, or just having someone in their lives. They make a VERY big deal about a getting married , and "keeping a man" and the relationship ends anyway. Poor thing.

  11. Hmmm, well I met my wife within six months of my divorce being finalized but dated other people before her, so is that still a rebound?

A marriage can be dead for a long time before papers get filed...

  12. All I can say is marriage can be hard, and not everyone is good at it.

  13. It can even be tough, y'all!

  14. Noticed she hasn't worn a wedding ring in a long time, which is odd for a woman who used to wear one.

She so annoying. Literally like 6months in she asked alot of guests how to keep things spicy in a marriage. One time whoopi was like "already"? Tehehehe

  16. I have to agree with Enty here. I've often wondered whether there is a time limit for rebounds. It seems that after any break up, no matter how long it's been, people say, "Oh, it's just a rebound," when someone dates again.

  17. There is always a "transition" relationship that gets you through the last one. They can often turn into that special one. It happened with me. Met the Opster about 2 months after I stopped having ex-sex with the previous.. 18 yrs later he's still here.

And it always seems like the most religious who believe in the sanctity of marriage end up married multiple times but gahd fahbid gays should have the same right to that. Because you know, they threaten those straight marriages.

    1. Sherry/ re your last paragraph: thats what irks me about these christian terrorists. The hypocrosy and judging. Or if u are invested in god and believing in him, you dont hv to judge anyone, god will take care of it. So keep thy large bazoo closed. Lol

  18. It should be like rehab, you should wait one year before entering any serious relationship.

I know a lot of people who made the mistake of dating someone where the divorce was not final or the divorce was too recent - if you can't be with someone else and constantly complain about your ex, you are not ready

  19. Maybe he explained to her that the Earth isn't flat. She doesn't like that.

  22. @Rob Horine

I'm actually not against divorce. I don't care what two consenting adults do. My point is that she's Superchristian when it comes to condemning others for perceived "sins" while she's committing several herself.

  23. I saw him interviewed on some show before they got married and I'm surprised it lasted this long.

He didn't seem enthusiast and that's putting it mildly.

  30. Sherry - completely agree. It's so ok for Rush Limballs to be married 4 times and loose his hearing because of his oxy addiction. It's so OK for Newt Gingrich to serve his first wife with divorce papers while she was in a hospital bed recovering from cancer surgery and divorce his second wife when she got diagnosed with MS that he was able to convert to Catholicism to marry this third one. And yet a gay couple that's been together 20 years should be denied the right to marry (not saying gay couples need to be together for 20 years to earn the right to marry). The hypocrisy is staggering.

  31. Why is the 1st relationship after a divorce called a rebound?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Everyone should have the right to get married.
If they decide to get divorced it's a private matter.
If they then find someone else fab, interesting & fun, how is it a rebound? They are just meeting new people.
What if someone waits 5 or 10 years , is that a rebound because it is their 1st relationship after the break up?

  33. She's as dumb as a box of rocks. He's probably too smart for her, and she got annoyed. I cannot even imagine what it would be luck to deal with her on a daily basis.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't know about no rebound. While her divorce from her first husband wasn't until 2010, that marriage was long over as he had cheated and gotten someone else pregnant. They hadn't been living under the same roof for years before their official divorce.
