Blind Items Revealed

February 15, 2014

These two actresses/former co-stars hate each other. One is a B list mostly television actress on a struggling network show. The other is a B+ list mostly television actress who goes from one hit project to the next. Apparently the B lister, who used to be an A lister is jealous of the B+ lister and used to treat her like crap. It also doesn't help that another former co-star who is always willing to stir up trouble and desperate for parts whispers things in each of their ears.

    1. @TRD Fuck yeah Cordy!

I confess that I loved Anya too. And Spike. Really I just want Cordelia, Anya, Spike and Oz on a couch watching SyFy disaster flicks and snarking at each other.

  3. I'm in denial by thinking it's Buffy and Willow hating Dawn.

Dawn was very easy to hate, she was a brat.

  4. Ohhhhh...juicy.

I think SMG comes across as a biatch. I never liked her.

  8. SMG's got no one to blame but herself for her career in the carper. Shit she used to pull on Buffy is still legendary.

Freddy did too many bad young adult romcoms that's were neither romatic or funny.

  10. Cordy is doing bad horror movies or she's been in "The Expendables" franchise, I wonder what she had to do to get that role & with who.

  11. She skirts around, Jessica...

  12. Yeah she looked really good for being in her forties. No shame in her game.

  13. In my entire professional career, I may have encountered occasional snark, but I've never experienced the "C totes hates R because C's s-o-o-o-o jealous of R and R was once s-o-o-o mean to C." Barbie Bitch House.

  15. Is it just me, or does it seem as if no one ever has anything good to say about MT? Is she really THAT much of a raging bitch? I'm sure Allyson's not perfect, but she's always seemed like basically a decent person (no, I'm not convinced the revealed blind about her getting her kids papped is true, sorry Enty...). I just don't get people who enjoy stirring up shit for the fun of it... *sigh*

  16. Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins! <3

Willow outed SMG as not being into Buffy after the second or third season. SMG wanted a movie career and oh, look....

I remember when Michelle was dating Josh Grobin. That didn't last long. Wonder if he shared any good stories when he worked with SMG?

  20. Allison has talent, but so does SMG. She was on The Crazy Ones and did really well, but I'm sure she was a horror for Robin Williams to deal with.

  21. I watched 10 minutes of The Crazy Ones and...hooo boy, that was painful. Used to love Robin Williams, but he was a charicature of his former self. I felt like I could see a cloud of cocaine dust around him.

Hard to tell if SMG was any good because her role consisted of annoyed reaction shots to her "dad," Williams.

  22. This goes back to when I was in JR high & use to watch Buffy, & post on the MB's for that, but there was seriously a time where weekly there were nasty stories of SMG. After she did Cruel Intentions & married Freddy, I think she thought they would be the next Tom & Nichole, she made everyone on Buffy miserable. She got the stunt corrdinator & his GF who was her stunt double fired from that show.

  23. Ive read interviews with SMG. She doesnt suffer fools gladly and has no patience for bullshit. This prob comes off as she is bitchy. If it were a man wed applaud his direct stance. But its women so they must be backbiting and bitchy. Sigh.

  24. There's a difference between being a professinal & being a bitch making everyone else miserable because you want out of your tv contract so you can go be the big movie star you think you are or being bitter because you never became the big movie star so are now back to trying to do tv, but shows don't get picked up or are cancelled.

  25. Don't even care, <3 SMG.

  26. A friend of mine did make-up on Buffy. When I asked her if SMG was like Buffy at all (this was when I was very young), she replied that SMG was more like her character in "Cruel Intentions": a bulimic headcase.

SMG didn't tell her co-stars she didn't want to renew her contract S7 and they all had to read about it. She didn't even come to her own wrap party. My friend said it would have been a completely different experience if she did show up. :-/

  27. Good dish, @Meghan!

I remember reading that about the wrap party and how several cast/crew members implied that the party was better without her.

  28. I remember reading about SMG fighting with Susan Lucci back on AMC. She was a relatively unknown back then and it didn't stop her from being a diva so it's no surprise to hear all these other stories years later.

  29. I don't know if "goes from one [television] hit to the next" is an accurate description of Hannigan. In fact, I know it isn't. She was on Buffy as a young thing, got married right after, disappeared from the spotlight for several years then landed HIMYM.

While yes, both were hugely successful shows, tv-wise, that's all she's done. (And her few and far between movies always seem to bomb.)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Alyson was in the American Pie franchise which, dire as it was, was still very successful. I don't think there was that much of a gap; there was really only a couple of years between Buffy and HIMYM and in the meantime she was doing lots of little projects.

  31. Being in two home run winners gives you a lot of traction, PJ.

Look at how long Jennifer Love Hewitt has been surviving based off of Ghostwhisperer and Party of Five.

Hannigan's pretty much at the level where she will always have work if she wants it. Really, SMG and David Boreanaz are too. I guess the only loser from the Buffy crew was Xander.

    And yeah what MrWolf said.
