Mr. X Blind Item #1
Which A-list actor who stars in several franchises had a rare sighting yesterday with his longtime boyfriend? They were seen out and about in LA house hunting. Bigger question is, when are they going to make their first appearance as a couple on a red carpet? My best guess is soon.

DeleteSandy - if you are looking for accuracy I think you're on the wrong blog. ;) He starred in those three franchises, but you are correct in saying he wasn't The Star.

I'm totally on the Renner train. He and his "business partner" have lived together longer than most hetero couples. They're known house flippers. So I'm thinking that might be a clue in this blind.
We all know Enty fudges a few details to make things more difficult to guess. So he could be fudging the "star" part of this blind. Renner might not have been lead but he's been in a few big franchises.

ReplyDeleteThis looks like Renner. However-for those who pay attention-his Ginger IS seen with him- allot: LACMA awards, Avengers premiere, Italian fashion show, the CAA agent's Serbian wedding. None of the fangirls want to admit that he's with Kris allot and not so much of that *cough* model *cough* 'Alberta from Vancouver'. Totally agree with Yoj-the homophobic movie goers force these closets. It sucks.

I feel very sorry for LGBT citizens of more intolerant societies than ours, but I don't feel sorry for Western celebrities who burrow deeper into the closet in order to protect their highly-paid franchise roles. Out actors still work, they just don't get million-dollar paycheques and magazine covers.

@Yoj When I met John Barrowman at comicon he stared at my boobs. All men, even gay ones, like boobs. Not saying Hiddlestone isn't gay. Just saying don't base a love of boobs as him being straight or bi.

they are gay but they love to pretend they aren't for the press.
About Tom Hiddleston before to be a rising star he was openly out everybody knew him as a gay man and in his life in London he never tried to hide it exactly like Luke Evans or Renner
i'm not saying all gay actors have to be out but don't go out of the closet and run back in when it's convenient.
@sifi-the president of our campus LGBT organization back in the day (way back!) is a friend of a friend. He considers himself primarily gay, but occasionally has sex with women because he looves boobies.

China is a HUGE market for american action movies...Hollywood can recoup bombs and make huge profits - renner is not coming out anytime soon with Avengers and a possible Hawkeye solo project as well ad Bourne, Hansel and any future franchises he might get.

If they want a female audience, and they do, they pretend to be straight, the John Travolta closet road to fame and fortune. If he only did what his gay fans would like, he wouldn't be famous with his own airplanes, he'd be living in a modest house that he bought with the Hairspray MODEST profits. It PAYS to pretend to be straight!
