Life has been hard for this former A list singer turned actress turned do whichever makes her money at that moment. All the years of drugs and booze were on full display the other night. She was sober, but couldn't hold a cigarette still to light it and had trouble keeping her fork from shaking to the point she could get food in her mouth. It was really sad. Apparently when she does drink she doesn't have those issues, so she always has a tough choice to make.

Yeah Courtney's seemed to look good lately but perhaps pro hair / make up was top shelf, or she's had a few and therefore not trembling and sick. Maybe she showed up more natural in this case.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking this. Wrote something different.. thats the first thing came to my mind, if its the shakes then shes recently been drinking and enty implied she's sober. The shakes go away pretty quickly once u start DTing. Yep. I know this for a fact.

DeleteSad. But if your shakes stop when u have a drink, then i say bottoms up. There are ways to slowly withdraw from drugs and alchol, but public tremors is not the one id choose. Poor girl.

ReplyDeleteI don't think either Mandy or Courtney would be considered a former A list singer. Also sober is a relative term. If you haven't drank that day you might consider yourself sober. However you could still be suffering from the DTs, hence the shakes.

Courtney was %100 A list back in the day. EVERYONE I know had Holes Live Through This album at one point in their lives..

ReplyDeletethere is a difference between DTs and withdrawing. the WD will give you the shakes. the DTs usually include hallucinations and siezure and can kill you.

When you've been drinking or drugging for years, it plays havoc with the nervous system, and you shake no matter what.
