Four For Friday- Kindness

I really hope that everyone is safe tonight. Halloween on a Friday just sounds like a recipe for bad things to happen so I really do hope you take some extra precautions. I know I usually start out saying something about Friday, but this Halloween seems odd so wanted to send that out to the universe. Now it sounds like I have been drinking. Not yet, but I will be tonight. At home. I have door watching duty which generally progresses from one or two bars for a kid to handfuls as the drinking takes effect later in the night. I hope you will stop by this weekend because I will be here. If you would like to follow me on Twitter, I am @entylawyer

Our actor is A list when it comes to looks. For over three decades on television he has had A list looks. As far as work goes, he probably is B list just because of his looks and past gigs. Mostly television. Not Emmy Award stuff, but long term crowd pleasers. He is the only actor who makes commercials look like something you would want to do. He goes out to dinner almost every night. Usually one of three places. All of them are located within a mile of each other, although one of them did just shut down and is moving to a new location so I don;t know if he will abandon it or not. Every night that he has gone out for the past year he has always bought dinner for a couple. The places he dines are anniversary or birthday type places and our actor always asks who is celebrating what and always buys dinner and a bottle of wine or champagne and if the couple wants it, he will even stop by and say hi. He especially loves doing it for tourists in town celebrating. He gets a kick out of it and likes making people happy and it just goes with who he is. Is he affecting the world? No, but he is making people feel good almost every night.

  20. I saw Stamos on Broadway once, in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, I believe. He was subbing for someone else - Matthew Broderick, maybe? - and I was extremely skeptical, but very pleasantly surprised. He was a talented and magnetic stage performer, and he sang well.

  22. @nutty- yes, he was Broderick's sub and he was quite adept- really good actually!

  23. John Stamos? He's A+ in looks.

  24. Does anyone know what happened between him and Rebecca Romajn? They were married for about 10 years before divorcing.

  25. Oh my lord, Troll you are cracking me up today! You all are!!! Well except for Regan, You're creeping me out!!

Good job on Stamos, I was thinking Mark Harmon, but Stamos makes more sense. He is dreamy indeed. I too am baffled that man is single. Wonder what his kink is.

  26. Yes a married man with children would not be eating at a restaurant every single night and it is hard to stay slim doing that.

  27. @nutty and@ jessi; fairly sure RR and JS had , not an open marriage, but swung a bit. Then I believe she wanted to be more grounded , have children etc. enter Jerry oconnell, who was definitely a trade down, but family oriented.

I think JS is not keen on having children, and enjoys being autonomous. He's the Bachelor clooney would have remained if not for political aspirations(ahem, just conjecture,of course).

  28. Stamos and @Sherry, if you are to believe those things, he has been waiting ages for the day Lori Loughlin decides to divorce her husband.

  29. @nutty, I thought that it was Rebecca's Star was Seriously Rising (X-Men, X-Men 2,whatever its called, Femme Fatale, her guest appearances on tv shows) & John Stamos's was in a slump for along while-& he never transitioned to Film (after Full House); Thus, he was a house hubby & drinkin, etc.. she was done.she left him.

  30. Anyways,he'll always be 'Jesse' to me...wasn't Rick Springfield's song about him????

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ummm that would blow my mind if that song was about "Jesse" Rolo!!!!

  32. I disagree Enty. Any kindness changes the world, even if only a tiny bit.

  34. Actually I think he played Blackie Parrish...I had a Teen Beat tear-out of him on my wall : )

  35. Mark Harmon was my first guess, too. He's got to be the nicest guy in Hollywood.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Completely delightful humam being. And a fine fine role model.

  37. Hopping on the Stamos train. If only.

  38. Selleck used to do commercials. I like that guess.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I thought Rob Lowe, but I like the John Stamos guess too.

  40. Anyone remember on GH when Lou died and Blackie went to jail for it? Just home from High School, watched the ep of Lou dying then had to go to work. We were all in TEARS at work over Lou dying because she was so sweet!

  41. Stamos makes sense. And LOL @ fetucini afraido!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yeah Stamos has said Lori was the one that got away. . She will never leave the Mossimo family and all that money. ..she just shags John on the side...so many full house reunions of late ya know???

    ReplyDelete
  43. Was thinking Stamos while reading it. I see we are in agreement.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It's Stamos. Harmon is an awesome guy but doesn't go out to dinner every night, hes still married to Pam Dawber and you hardly hear of them being out much. Nice story.

    ReplyDelete
  45. This really sounds like Stamos to me. I see him as being a very convivial person.

Harmon is philanthropic, but I doubt he eats out every night. BTW, if you want to catch early Harmon and Denzel Washington, watch some of St. Elsewhere, a great 80s hospital series.

  46. Sounds like hunky John Stamos, and perhaps one of the places is Craig's restaurant. That's a very nice thing he does.
