Off Topic

I found some discounted rum in the grocery store yesterday but it was peppermint flavored. I still bought it. Tasted like Christmas.

  8. That's just sacrilege. I'm all about the Captain Morgan and I think peppermint would make me puke. And I never puke up and waste good alcohol!

  9. Think I'll just drink some regular rum with a York peppermint pattie.

  10. Here, rum is considered the females' drink of choice. I guess they would like it. I keep on my vodka, tequila, anisette and orujo.

  11. Christmas has a taste? Huh.

I was looking for Burnett's Ruby Red Grapefruit vodka (love that with cranberry juice!) and there was candy cane vodka and maple syrup vodka on the shelf. Gag.

  12. 100 Proof Hot Damn is as Christmas flavored as I want my booze. Wonder what it would taste like in some Apple Cider?

  13. I put peppermint in everything! I can't have coffee without it and sometimes I put it in my bottle of water so I have fresh breath when I'm out. The best rum I had was from the Bahamas and it was rum liquor. It tasted like vanilla yummness. Now I'm hooked on the three ingredient peppermint patties from Traders :)

  15. My mother gave me some "Christmas coffee" with a peppermint flavor. Quite odd, Enty, but not bad with a shot of creme de menthe and/or creme de cacao.

  16. I think that sounds delicious. First you feel a cool tingle and then the rum warms you all over. Add a bit of brown sugar and you're done!
I had a bourbon latte the other night and it was so good!
