Mr. X Blind Item #1 - Easy Easy

Why have that A++ list actor and Oscar winner/nominee and that A-list pop singer been hanging out so often (no they're not dating)? Well, it looks like she might appear in his next movie, one that definitely win him some big awards.

  6. Can someone please clarify if there is any difference between American/English grammar and the rest of the world/English grammar? I am not a pedant but Enty's exceptionally poor grammar sometimes drives me nuts!

Well, that makes more sense. We knew he wasn't interested in dating RiRi, since she has girl parts, but if he's got a part for her, that's different. Given how her awesome acting chops helped make "Battleship" such a hit, I can see why Leo wants to cast her.

@ Emily: "Oscar winner/nominee" means the person falls into one of the two categories. (If it was merely about winners, the "/nominee" part would be unnecessary, as all winners are perforce also nominees.) Leo may not have gotten his hands on the little gold man, but he's been nominated,

@ NHR: This is Mr. X, not Enty. And no, it's not a British v. American thing, there should definitely be a "will" (or "should" or "could" or "might") somewhere in that final clause, either before or after "definitely". Mr. X definitely goofed there.

  8. As they say, 'ta, very much!'. Although both Mr X and the various Entys write so appallingly I feel it is hardly worth differentiating between them. Perhaps you are right in that Mr X is marginally worse.

"Well, it looks like she might appear in his next movie, one that definitely win him a front row seat to watch other actors win some big awards."

    Fixed.

I read it as a hyphen, as in j-zed or ex-husband.

I don't think going from battleship to a movie with di caprio is so much an upgrade, his acting suck more and more as he gets fatter.

Enty English (I use the term lightly) bares only a passing resemblance to English as the rest of the world knows it. I have a growing suspicion that he/she/they pass the blinds through a language scrambler before they gets posted.

Rhianna was OK in Battleship, she was only on screen for 5 mins so she wasn't the reason the movie stank, blame the director for that. Maybe with another director she will do fine.

@emerald city- yep. I've long since noticed when I open/ refresh site it's in Chinese on occasion . Not for long, but a moment, two. I never mentioned it because no one else seemed to notice it. Also, I thought(like other day when Enty said site was under "maintenance", it was for far longer- which makes me think it was sold to the Asian market and translated into numerous language ps(sometimes "English "being one.)
