The family of this A list athlete have stopped talking to him because he is trying to hide that he is gay. They have no issues with him being gay, but won't go along with his lies any longer.
Wow, that blind is about as vague as can be. What sport? My guess is there have been and will continue to be many, many, many in-the-closet male superstar athletes for a variety of sports.
Who really cares? As long as they play the sport they're paid to play and play it to the best of their abilities and don't make their sexuality (straight or gay) or other off-field antics the center of attention.
