This permanent A+lister who has an A list offspring could not finish what was to be her last movie. Her drug use was such that she was unable to stay coherent for more than an hour or two a day.

I remember exactly when she died & where I was when my dad opened up the newspaper & her picture as Dorothy was the whole front left 1/2page & her in "A Star Is Born" was on the Right 1/2 page.
