Blind Item #2

There is a real battle going on right now between this recent A+ list mostly movie actor who has a monster franchise and his entire team. Our actor has always been conservative but he is really becoming outspoken and his team want him to stop. They think it will affect his career. He doesn't care.

a "monster" as in HUGE or as in actual monsters? Can't think of one except maybe Jurassic Park and conservative Christian Chris Pratt?

Not sure why his team would be against it...there are plenty of Bible thumpers that go see movies-it could work in his favor, the ant-Johnny Depp.

  5. CHris has only been in 1 installment of the Franchise, does that make it "his" franchise now?

There's nothing shittier than when people banish a person they liked just because they don't share the same political views

I love how conservatives tell celebrities "just shut up and do your job" -- unless they say they love Jesus, hate blacks and mexoricans, muslamics, and love more wars!

  15. Very true, @Sadie. Of course the liberals are against anything they don't go along with. Just as intolerant as the other side, but of course they never see it that way

  16. Alt-conservatives HATE wars. Coz its all to benefit bankers and ZIO-scum. IDGAF about religion, ethnicity, gender or PC bullshit. Transgenders can use whatever bathroom they want. And self-mutilate. Go for it.

  17. Oh please. Liberals... Conservatives... They all do it. Please do not act like Conservatives are somehow better. They are not.

Yes, @Andy, random anonymous comments on an internet gossip website prove things about political factions with millions of individual members. Of course.

This word "awesome" that you use to describe yourself. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Fundamentalist christians are the dumbest people in the world. Not strictly because of their religious beliefs - most religions are fucking insane. It's the rest of the baggage they drag along and keep trying to force on everyone else.

He is conservative, let us burn him at the stake.
He should be doing all the drugs and sluts around; and preaching enviromentalist shit while flying his own jet a la dicaprio; and beating partners a la depp/penn; and not having showers a la penn; and... like all those liberals in hollyweird,

It might not be his religious believes that are ticking his people off. Maybe he is a Donald Trump supporter and try to convince others to be the same?

I can think of a few things worse but not many. I f this person says something offensive, racist, etc,but when you try to suppress someones religious or political beliefs, you are destroying your own freedom..Whatever you do to someone , can just as easily be turned on you. There is no freedom without dissent.

But fans are perfectly free to not watch a project because they don't like the actor. I see very few of Tom Cruise's projects, or any vocal Scientologist. Ditto with some actors I consider too conservative. They are welcome to their viewpoints, and I am welcome to mine which allows me to not support their projects. Pratt is on the verge of being the biggest movie star on earth, and one of the biggest in history. If he could add some R-rated comedy hits, he would be the biggest star on the planet. 20+million per movie, plus backend. If he pisses off too many fans, it will erode his box office draw. He can believe whatever he wants, and support whoever he wants to support. In private. He sells himself on the screen, and it would be stupid to piss away that money right now.

I'm OK with Cuck. To me, the true conservatives are fine. I don't agree with them, but I understand their legitimate opinions. Conservatives that want smaller gov can't also support a huge military and government interference in personal lives. Too many times I see legitimate Conservative opinions co-opted in the name of big business.

  32. Patrick7:53 AM

I love how liberals are blasted for being intolerant of intolerance. So, we should be fine with homophobia or racism?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Patrick8:01 AM

This. My childhood preacher was the most devout person I knew, and he and his wife truly tried to live by the bible's teachings. I'm sure they were put off by homosexuals (both of them were older even in my childhood 30 years ago) and would have been iffy about transgendered people. But they were always inclusive. If you tried to be a good person, no matter what else you did/were, they accepted you. Its the pushing of religious views that I can't abide.

I think the point was he doesn't care as much for his career as he does for his beliefs. Unlike others, maybe he doesn't want to be a hypocrite..He doesn't want to be a closet Christian, and good on him. People do best when they are true to themselves, maybe the last thing he wants is to do some R rated comedies just to expand his audience. Maybe that's what he doesn't want.It sounds from what you say the studios have him mapped out to be the next big thing."He can believe whatever he wants, and support whoever he wants. In private."..The same argument they use for gay actors.Few gay actors have come out, Christians now have to join them in the closet. That's not freedom for anyone, When one group of people lose the right to their religion or political beliefs , we all do..

A lot of the blinds are repetitive... just the names of the people involved change. It seems like there are about 4 or 5 categories for blinds and you just have to figure out what crazy thing this one or that one is doing at any given moment.
