Nicorette Part One
This foreign born A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee with A+ list name recognition was put in her place last night about halfway through the show. Smacking louder on her Nicorette than an SNL impression of Britney Spears, the actress was told to, “shut the f**k up,” and that she was driving everyone crazy.

ReplyDeleteGum chewing is so disgusting. the smell, the sight, the sound. nasty all around. it seriously lowers my opinion of a person when I see them doing it for an extended period of time.
ReplyDeleteSnapping gum is enough to drive me to murder. It triggers something hateful and scary in me.
I cannot stand loud gum chewing. I have a co-worker who kind of rolls the gum between her molars, making a half-chew sound. Sets me on edge just thinking about it.

ReplyDeleteAgain, Nicorette, et. al. doesn't work, and chomping on it harder than ever isn't going to squeeze out the last one percent of nicotine.
ReplyDeleteI feel for them though, because cigarettes are designed to be addicting. I remember sucking hard on a "light" because I wasn't getting the necessary nicotine from light.
Oh my goodness I'm going backward today also, that's exactly who I thought of too. It would been nice if it was Strahan putting her in her place.

ReplyDeleteMost of them are chomping on it because they can't leave for a few hours or more for a smoke break. So it's just to take the edge of the craving off, not quit.

ReplyDeleteThis is an oscar ceremony there's noise coming from every direction. People are on stage, there's talking and music. How would you hear gum chewing in all that? It doesn't make sense but most of Enty's blinds don't make sense.
