This closeted A- list mostly movie actor with a huge tent pole franchise movie about to be released was doing poppers and coke at a gay bar out of the country.
By tent pole I'm assuming it's a movie to support a franchise. Star Trek is its own franchise. I'm thinking Suicide Squad. It's a tent pole for justice league and it opens in August.
It's usually means more than a franchise movie or support for a franchise. It's so big it's expected to basically support the entire studio and/or a whole vast business empire of merchandising/products that are tied in to the movie.
(I think both Star Trek and Suicide Squad would probably be considered tentpoles -- basically they're massive movies meant to appeal to pretty much all audiences.)
Agree. He was out and about in Sydney for a few days. Star Trek Beyond is a tent pole because CBS will be releasing new TV series based on this franchise in 2017.
Actually yes....it is a circus reference. The tent pole was the foundation of the whole circus, it held up the big top, the centre point of 'the greatest show on earth', once the tent pole was up the show was ready to begin, it literally supported the whole company in every sense of the word. In its modern meaning it means a block buster that the studio is counting on to bring in the money to support them for the next year.
Someone from Suicide Squad. Jared leto has fem traits for sure but he is at the most bi and would be "out" if he were gay imo. Jai, Scot eastwood, Will .. Take your pick
