Blind Item #3
There was a four hour argument between this former bubblegum singer and the writers/directors/producers of her new show about a scene. They all wanted the actress to wear a bikini for a scene and she refused. She wouldn't back down and threatened to walk off the show. This all has been trouble from day 1. I don't think she should have to wear a bikini, but apparently everyone argues about everything and everyone dislikes everyone.

ReplyDeleteI have found that most people don't like it when 'others' can see (most of) their bodies in a swimsuit.
ReplyDeleteThe fixation of 'others' seeing a pretty woman in a bikini usually doesn't sit well with the woman (or man) wearing the swimsuit -- regardless of her shape or size.
(I don't want to be seen/photographed in a swimsuit and I am tall and thin - ish.)
There's something seriously wrong with the acting unions that this isn't taken as standard. Obviously getting half-naked should require extra written consent beyond the basic contract. Ditto for fully naked obviously. It's shocking that actresses have to negotiate to get non-nudity clauses, rather than that being the default position.
ReplyDeleteI don't care if she is the single worst person on earth to work with... when men demand a woman wear a bikini they have crossed a line. This is not 1978 anymore.
ReplyDeleteUnless she was required to jump in an ocean or a pool and then why not a one piece or shorts. This should also be negotiate in contract talks and prior to accepting the role.
ReplyDeleteWow! This show has been highly promoted on Twitter. It looks pretty good. However, it doesn't bode well to have a brand new show where people aren't getting along already.
