This A- list singer who used to be a tweener is under a lot of pressure to sign a management deal with this A+ list singer who is starting to want to monetize her friendships. It has the A-/B+ lister contemplating quitting singing.

ReplyDeleteThis blind was an 'aha' moment for me on understanding TSwift's psychology. I respect her ambition, and her and her Dad did blow up the normal pop star route with their own cross-over label, so I can see why she'd feel up to this task. But her mistake was being so covert and disingenuous i.e. the girlsquad is just about friendship no agendas, the 5+ gay boyfriends who will come out someday. Just own it girl, you are a power lesbian/bisexual and want to rule the world.

ReplyDeleteI still believe this has more to do with keeping her from recording with her "enemies". For example, Calvin Harris, who often records with female vocalists.

ReplyDeleteI agree. She'd (Swifty) sooner sign her(Selena) and have her sit idle than associate with any of Swifty's "enemies". IMO, she's paranoid in addition to her other unusual personality traits. She's very "me against everyone" and means literally everyone. Creepy.

ReplyDeleteIt's not paranoid...do you not live in reality? People WILL screw anyone over if there's ANYTHING in it for them. They often do it for fun! Hollywood is likely a billion times worse than real life so who can blame Taylor? "friends are enemies that want something from you." Sucks but that is life.
