Even though her new movie is also crap, this Academy Award winner/nominee who is A list showed up at TIFF to take the critical beating and promoted it as best she could. She knows it sucks, but is giving it her best shot.

    Lion had a standing ovation and cheering. It's now considered a Best Picture contender and Best Actress for Kidman. It's not her.

    Naomi Watts? The Bleeder has got poor reviews.

    Kidman got good reviews in Lion and the movie got fairly good reviews though it's a super sentimental tearjerker - not the critics' favorite.

    Natalie Portman's got great reviews for Jackie, so not her.
