This A+ list mostly movie actor is holding up production on this franchise because he wants to be the first actor to be guaranteed $100M for one movie. It is this magic number in his head.
My thoughts, your words (almost exact). I watched the beginning of Minority Report last night and realized the last Tom movie I saw was War of the Worlds.
I suspect the evil galactic overlord Xenu will sabotage Tom's wish. Especially after the bad reviews and low returns on the latest Jack Reacher film (which TCS had no business making).
$cio takes there cut, so it must be encouraging this.
