My thoughts, your words (almost exact). I watched the beginning of Minority Report last night and realized the last Tom movie I saw was War of the Worlds.

I suspect the evil galactic overlord Xenu will sabotage Tom's wish. Especially after the bad reviews and low returns on the latest Jack Reacher film (which TCS had no business making).
Why mostly movie. Has TC been doing theatre and tv without anyone noticing?
But the MI franchise is a serious money maker, depending upon the cost of the actual movie, it's do-able.
