He's like the real life guy from that 'Hung' show, except his circumstances aren't yet quite so dire that he needs to charge. I only watched half of the first episode, but the premise seems pretty self-explanatory ...

I'm going to say this is Jon Hamm and assume enty meant former A list mostly tv actor from a very hit cable show turned mediocre movie actor, because that rating would fit.
