Dolly Parton helps 921 people who lost homes in wildfires
Dolly Parton‘s My People Fund has issued monthly checks to 921 people who lost their homes in deadly wildfires that ravaged East Tennessee last year.
Parton said afterward that she was heartbroken about wildfires that tore through the county where she grew up and promised to set up a fund to give $1,000 per month for six months to those who lost their primary residence in the blaze.
Dolly is very kind to help those who lost their homes. Dealing with insurance companies is a joke especially when there are so many other claimants. Thanks for the info
What a wonderful way to use her $$! She must be an incredible woman as she has been a household name for nearly half century and I've never heard a bad thing about her. She's extremely talented, chairitable, and funny.
