Blind Item #11

All the fans of this superhero show seem to be clamoring for the exit of the second billed actress on the almost network show not as good or as popular as the others on the almost network. The thing is though, to get rid of her would cost a ton of money because she is brilliant (one of the smartest actresses on television) and from day 1 has been documenting every time she has been sexually harassed or had other things said to her which were objectionable. The producers know she has it because they tried to fire her before.

Whoever it is, count me as a fan of hers.

  4. She was only on Legends of Tomorrow in season 1, so she wasn't there last year and isn't there this year.

Jessica Jones? Can't remember if Netflix is an almost network.

"Almost network" is Enty's less-than-affectionate term for the CW. "Almost television show" is what he uses to describe Netflix. So it's something on the CW that isn't "The Flash," as that's their #1 show. "Supergirl," "Legends of Tomorrow," "Arrow" -- one of those. As for which show and which actress, I have no idea, as I don't watch any of them. "Arrow" is now the least-watched of the four, and I have seen fanboys bitching about the girl on it. Emily Bett Rickards, I think her name is, though I don't know her billing on it -- or what Enty would consider "smart," for that matter.

She should be a role model on how to protect oneself in the industry. Good for her.

But Arrow is by far one of the most popular shows on the network even though dropped in ratings and Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity) is also the most loved character on that show for the fans plus she's not the second billed actress. It could be ''Legends of Tomorrow'' but Caity Lotz doesn't fit in the ''fans want to get rid of her'', Candice Patton could be because she is second billed and i've seen fans wanting to get rid of her but ''The Flash'' is so popular so i don't know

Yes ''Arrow'' was the least-watched this season but Arrow is still the #2 (at least) most popular show on the network and Emily Bett is not the second billed actress; the billed ranking is: Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland and Emily Bett and yeah fanboys bitch about her but she is also the most loved and popular character on the show by fans and the producers/cast are always saying how amazing and importand she is for the show, i doubt it's her.

She should write an eBook and sell it on Google Books, it'll make her a lot of $$$

  18. I have selective reading, so when I read "superhero show", "get rid of her", I immediately thought about Candice Patton, but then I read the whole blind and saw this "the smartest actresses on television" and I knew it could not be her, since she's neither brilliant nor intelligent. My guess is Katie Cassidy

  19. Maybe Laura (Supergirl)?

Then again maybe not. I could see this being Kate Cassidy and Arrow as it's been known in the blinds that the cast/production can't stand her.

  20. It depends on how you define "popular". But 2nd billed actresses
    - Candice Patton
    - Emily Bett (who's technically the 2nd billed female after Willa)
    - Caity Lotz I think is 2nd billed
    - Chyler Leigh

They all seem popular on their respective shows though except the odd one out I suppose is Candice. So it's probably her

  21. Danielle Panabaker - The Flash - second to Candice Patton. Smart cookie. Deans List at UCLA. Graduate.

  22. I do watch most of the CW DC shows (except Arrow), and in my experience the only actresses with fans hating on them are Emily Bett and Katie Cassidy (depending on which camp you're in), and Candice Patton (who gets hate from racists). "...not as good or as popular as the others on the almost network" would seem to mean Legends of Tomorrow, but I don't know of any fans who are anxious for any of the women on that show to leave. I haven't heard of anyone wanting Danielle Panabaker or Chyler Leigh to leave their respective shows, either.

I'd buy a book on how to document sexual harassment.

Laura is a new mom and a musical theater actress at heart so she opted not to return to Supergirl to stay in NYC with her family and get back on stage.

I think its Katie Cassidy. They killed her character off after making sure they can´t bring it back, when they had a lot of chances. The Lazarus Pit, time travel, flashpoint. But they didn´t. They clearly wanted her gone. Even if the charcter is a big deal on the DC world. So they knew from the start some fans were going to be pissed, and did it anyway. Then they brought her back as an alternative version of Laurel Lance as a "regular" across the shows. But the truth is she barely showed up. And now she´s has a regular status again on Arrow. If that´s not suspicious.... I´m glad she´s back tho! I like her. I never understood the hate towards her.

Nyssa destroyed the Lazarus Pit, so that wouldn't have worked anyway. I agree with the hate she got. I never understood it. The only thing I could figure was it came from the fans obsessed with Felicity, who, to be honest, I wish they would get rid of and never bring back.

Most loved character? Yeah, ok. There is a large segment of real fans that would love to see her gone.

I don't know if I understand what you wrote, but Candice is the 2nd billed actress in The Flash. Danielle makes more money than Grant (just for the record).

Katie Cassidy? Though when they said not as popular as the other shows on the same network, my mind went straight to Legends of Tomorrow. Can't be Chyler Leigh cause she's super loved in the Supergirl fandom, definitely one of the fan favorites.
