This former A- list rapper had a decent career before she went to prison. Now she is such an addict, that she doesn’t care about anything else but getting high. She would rather have sex for drugs than to make the effort to do any kind of music.

Yup, late 90's/early 00's she was having #1 hits aplenty. Great songs as well.

ReplyDeleteThere were rumors a long time ago about some recording artist beating her up in a studio. I guess she was set up for smack talking. Anyway, I thought the rumors were that she lost her hearing from that beating. Terrible if true! And this would have been back when she was still very young. Those artists show up to record with an entire entourage so there would have been AT LEAST 10 witnesses to this (also accomplices, if it's true that they locked her alone in a room with the person who beat her). PTSD, adjusting to the loss of hearing, medical bills, loss of self-confidence, being mocked and made fun of for the beating ..... all of these things would be reasons her career disappeared if the rumors were true. Sad. When she first started out she was such a pretty girl and those 90s songs were bangers!
