Speaking of NYFW, this A+ list designer likes to pose for photos with his celebrity guests and he had some very choice things to say when he saw this one named singer and what she wore. He was not a fan. At all.

ReplyDeleteOdd. She was wearing Tom Ford collection. Considering she was invited to sit front row, it's 100% likely she was sent the outfit by Tom Ford PR to wear to the show.
ReplyDeleteIt's her stylist's fault. Stylist has turned every event into trashy with too much skin, garbage bin style clothes, etc. She has a very vulgar, trashy way of dressing them.

ReplyDeleteThat’s all on him then, as she wore Tom Ford exactly as he styled it on the runway model. If he doesn’t like it, he should look in the mirror and ask himself why his clothing looks “awful” even on a very slim actual non-model human woman.

DeleteLike many designers, Tom Ford often ignores that design elements which look artistic or interesting on bony models will look cheap, frumpy, porny, tasteless, and/or distorted on any woman with even a hint of meat on her bones.
Ex: Halsey. She’s not exactly pudgy.

ReplyDeleteI agree, Halsey was styled almost exactly as the runway model, down to the hair and shoes - save for the makeup. Pity about him if he didn’t like it! I agree that Ciara’s outfit looked awkward as hell.
ReplyDeleteI googled the look. She was a dead ringer for the model in the same outfit, he has no room to complain, by his runway's standard she nailed the look.
