DeleteI was abused by both parents as a child. Had my face hit until my mouth bleed by father, knife pointed at me by mother as soon as I open the door, blamed me whenever strangers did bad things to me (including molesting). Do you see me pass that on to other people as an adult?
No. Because none of what happened to me as a child was their fault. Why punish the world for it?

ReplyDeleteI think the talk show was "Watch what happens Live" and Padma (pushing 50) was on with hot, wild model Nina Agdal and it made Padma seem sort of old and stodgy. Padma didn't know any of the new young celebrities that the model knew about in a game they played. This could have made Padma cranky but I am not defending her rude behavior.
ReplyDeleteOn the show Padma said she never wanted to get married again. She had way more of an attitude then I've ever seen her have before. She is one of the hosts and judges of "Top Chef" She was married to Salman Rushdie for 3 years after living with him for 3 years. Padma was in the awful Mariah Carey film "Glitter" and Padma played a terrible singer. She is not a great actress or singer.

DeleteI saw that WWHL episode. Rarely watch it but happened to catch it. I didn't think Padma was rude at all during the show. Have no idea about what happens w/ production, but she didn't seem rude to me. She played all the games, drank A LOT because she was told to, due to the games, and she seemed happy to do so.
ReplyDeleteShe was very honest and open and doesn't back down on her beliefs. Frankly, I find her "I'm not kissing anyone's ass" attitude quite refreshing.

ReplyDeletePadma was a model, an actress, and had her own cooking show. She was married to Rushidie, author of The Satanic Verses. In my eyes, she is not a nobody. As someone else mentioned, she was horribly injured in a car accident and has an intetesting looking scar on her arm. Speaking from personal experience, the slightest touch is painful when you have nerve damage.
